「All was wonderful and pleasant with our stay. We celebrated our 40 year wedding anniversary. The Rock of Cashel type was very educational. Mickey Brian and the morning breakfast at the hotel for was perfect.」

「Front desk staff helpful. No lift so stairs to rooms but staff did carry luggage. Convenient location, lovely dinner in bar. Close to Irwin’s for drinks and music. Not sure why but we were told not to drink tap water and had to carry water from bar. Very close to Cahir castle.」

「Where do I even begin? From the moment I got there; I was treated like royalty. Staff was top notch. Pods are the coolest thing and such a wonderful experience. The Hottub and dry sauna are pristine. The pods are so nicely designed and super clean. Waking up to the country side was one of the most spectacular views ever. I should’ve stayed my entire week there and never left. I was so content and relaxed! I will definitely be back soon!!! I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is!!! 」

「Booked a king room with a balcony which promised “Spectacular views of Gardens/River Suir or Comeragh Mountains”. Our room principally had a view of a tree and the corn field behind it. The room was a compact and the balcony lacked privacy from the adjoining rooms or the car park below. There was an irregular buzzing noise throughout the night so we had little rest. There is little in the immediate vicinity of the hotel, so plan on using the hotel facilities or drive into town in the evening.」

「This was our second stay at this lovely Lodge. Small, cosy, but more than enough room inside. Avril and Michael are great hosts and live next door for any questions you might need. It's a lovely rural location in tipperary and you can't beat the peace and quietness of the countryside here. Taxi drivers are available and Avril will provide you with the details if needed. Already looking forward to when we return again!」

「No air con in the room, a bit hot in the room」

「AC broke on the first hour there. Asked for a different room and was full and told to check tomorrow. Called five times to get the AC fixed and was told each time it would be. The next day I was told they would try fixing it again instead of moving me. Supposedly tried calling me later in the night for a switch. I tried calling reception twice on separate times with no answer. Checked out finally. Spent two days sweltering. Worst experience in my 5 days around Ireland so far.」
