“We had a great time in Kinvarra! Proximity to the Aran Islands, Cliffs of Mohr, etc. was great and we enjoyed the local pubs and music. The accommodations were great, clean and well stocked. We were a little put off by the amount of traffic and related noise, at times it was hard to even cross the street and the bedrooms that faced the road were noisy. Toni was very responsive and gave us lots of information on things to do and see. Overall we enjoyed the town and had a great time.”

Suzanne is an excellent host with a great knowledge of the area. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or just a place to unwind and relax--this is it!”

Ray is a great host--check in was a breeze and the location of the house is terrific-- close to town, but quiet--with great access to Bishop's Quarter--a lovely strand for walking- The view from the house couldn't be prettier. This would be a great spot for a family, as there is plenty of room. We will be back for sure.”

“The room was adequate and nothing special. The hot water at the sink was very difficult to turn on and off. The hot tub is an inflatable pool that was not working and had not been cleaned. A golf course is near but there is nowhere to walk. You need a car to go anywhere.”

“We loved our stay so much, we wished we booked this house longer! The history of the property we learned from the property manager was astounding. The views of the water, back garden, and lounging on the couch just looking at the walls around us were priceless. Highly recommend staying at this property if you want to feel like you’re really in Ireland!”

“Kinvara is a good location for exploring Galway and County Clare. The property is fine with plenty of space and well equipped. We even managed to use the Hot Tub which was very rewarding as the weather forecast for the week was not very very good.”

“The house was very clean except for the carpets. There was a lot of room for our group. The rooms were large and adequately furnished. The kitchen utensils and cookware was a bit sparse. The rent was very reasonable, but I would rather pay a bit more and not have to “rent” towels or supply additional toilet paper or buy dish soap. ”

“The kitchen was ill-equipped- no cheese grater- and the furniture had strips of veneer hanging off which needed to be glued back on. The beds were hard, and none of the strip lights above the basins worked, making shaving difficult. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was poor. However it was a pleasant enough cottage apart from the niggles.”

“The cottage was very comfortable. It had everything we needed to make ourselves at home. The location was central to all the places we visited. We enjoyed our daily drives through the countryside and having a relaxing place to stay when we returned each evening. On our final day, we enjoyed touring the local area and found that there was plenty to do in or near Mountshannon. It was nice taking a break from driving. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately we had to leave a day early……

L espace de vie est trop restreint, la cuisine mal équipée ( seulement 2 verres à pied , aucun plat pour cuire au four, pas de pelle, poelle t’égala hors d usage, pas de pelle ni serpillière.. ménage difficile .) Cheminée non obturée et très froide et bruyante par tempête. Éclairage insuffisant , ampoule grillée, pas de patères dans lés salles de bain, moquettes tachée et usée.pas de bonde dans les lavabos, joint de……

“I have mixed feelings about this stay. It is hard not to compare it to other cottages I've stayed in while in Ireland at the same price point. Where there is a basic welcoming basket with bread, eggs, salt and pepper. There is nothing of the sort here. There were a lot of rules posted around that seemed a bit much compared to the condition of the cottage. The beds were not comfortable, but the bedding looked newer. There was an electric carving knife, but no hair dryer. There is no dishwasher,……
