“The appliances were dated, the dryer didn’t dry but the house was well stocked with dishes and necessities. We did have a few issues. The door to the patio wouldn’t lock and a bathroom sink drain was stuck. We reported the problems and they were not repaired before the end of the stay. We did have an enjoyable visit overall. The golf course and hotel were very beautiful and well maintained. We really liked the space and it worked out well for our group.”

“Our host, Eva, was incredibly responsive to every inquiry. She also had excellent recommendations on local sights for our party. The kitchen came stocked with a few niceties such as bread, croissants, butter, jam, milk and juice. Beds were quite comfortable and we enjoyed resting while watching the sheep and listening to the birds. Perfect place to stay for our first two nights in Ireland!”

“We stayed in 6 different VRBO rentals all over Ireland this past month. Of them all, this was the best of all. It was very clean, had an attentive host (managing the lovely restaraunt in front), it was quiet and secluded, the grounds were beautiful...and best of all, the Multifarnham area was astounding. I took a short walk and found the Abbey in town that included a botanical garden with cafe (and tea houses scattered around the grounds), and an amazing park and walking paths around the Abbey.……

“It was a beautiful home, the neighbor dogs were incredibly sweet. We enjoyed the pool table and the old stove. But It wasn’t easy to get anywhere with our large group,Ubers didn’t want to take the fare.There was no walking on the narrow road. When we did go to the closest town on a Monday, everything was closed for dinner except a pizza place and Brady’s (which we loved)for drinks. Just be prepared to spend a lot on taxi service or just rent a car. We all loved the property and the dogs became……

“Out in county but close to everything. This home was beautiful, everything we could need was provided! The living spaces were so comfortable we didn't want to leave, the bedrooms were beautiful, it was our own private luxe hotel, but just felt like a peaceful home. Caithriona welcomed us like family and made sure she was always available should we need her, she even gave us some great suggestions on places to visit. We could not ask for a better vacation stay.”

“The Grooms Cottage was a rustic wonderful stay. It is in the country but really not far from shops. Having only 1 bathroom was a little difficult in the morning with 5 adults but they are working on an upstairs one, it just wasn't ready for our stay. I definitely would come back to the Grooms Cottage!”
