“David and Annette were super great and easy to communicate with. The chalet is very dated in terms of decor but I took it as village charm. A nice 10 minute walk to town! Our biggest hurdle was that on our second day there the sewage or plumbing backed up causing the entire back half of the house to smell of urine and feces. The toilets themselves were not plugged. Unfortunately this resulted in most of our guests leaving as the smell was unbearable. ”

“This property was in a beautiful setting. Very well kept. The host was so easy to get in contact with. The house had plenty of room. There were 11 of us total. We all had our own rooms that gave us our privacy. Hot tub and fire pit was even an added extra. Such an enjoyable experience. ”

“I would highly recommend this property, the description is true, the location is convenient, and the unit was extremely clean! We did not need to contact the host so I cannot comment on communication. However, I can comment that the Vrbo app did not work properly and I couldn’t find, my rental information on the app. But that’s VRBO, I have had issues with VRBO in the past and I’m not a fan of it. But this property in this host was amazing!”

“We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the this property was. The pictures do not do it justice. Everything is so well done. Anthony was great to help out with any questions or concerns. Property had everything you need to spend a great weekend. We were there for a friends’ wedding, which was in the area, and it was great location close to the venue. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.”

“We stayed here while cousins gathered to visit a place that our ancestors settled and farmed. Some of us had visited grandparents and great grandparents here but all the youngsters had only heard stories about places here. This home was perfect. Grounds had room for kids. The area is beautiful. The home is well equipped and added to how much we enjoyed our stay ”

Our group has a history of camping together in Allegheny as kids and thought it would be a perfect place to re-connect. Pumpkin Hollow was just what we were needing.
