Good condo

Loved having a condo instead of a hotel room. It was much more relaxing for our short vacation. Great pools and amenities, but mostly we enjoyed relaxing in the spacious condo!

We really enjoyed our stay and all the amenities this resort offered. It was centrally located to all the things we wanted to do. The only draw back was we were required to strip all beds and bag up all sheets and towels which is not something I have ever had to do any place I have ever stayed.

This is the second time we have stayed here. It's an older resort, but the units are modernized, clean and maintained. The bed was comfy. We had brand new sofas in the living room. Live how beautiful the beach is in North Carolina.

This was our 4th stay here. We absolutely love the units - we've stayed in both 2 and 3 bedroom units - and they are so comfortable and spacious. Everything one would need is provided. This was not our last visit!!

What a fun after Christmas vacation at the nicest Beach Club we’ve ever stayed at. Went to Vera Bradley outlet, the Christmas shop in Manteo, Claire’s, played bingo, ate at some yummy Christmas pop up restaurants, played games, caught up on our Serial Killer docs and laughed ALOT!

Not what we expected

At check in the staff was friendly. We booked through hotels.com with a listing for a king bed. The room we received had a queen. I contacted Hotels.com and the representative contacted the hotel and was told they only offer queen beds. Then why was it an option? The bed was very firm but there were plenty of good pillows. We were only given enough towels for 4 people and no housekeeping daily. I tried to call the desk but got no answer. There is a shared laundry for the entire complex. The room we were given was listed as a courtyard view. It was across the street from the main complex behind the office. The room/condo was clean and well maintained.

I liked that the property was directly ocean front, even though it was a rather stenious walk to get to the beach. The property had many, many stairs, so not ideal for older folks or those with disability. The pools were nice, never over crowded. We also enjoyed using the charcoal grills (would have been nice if they offered gas grills). The propery did have a few restarants and a icecream shop within walking distance, everything else was a short drive away. The condo itself had everything we needed to cook in and stay in comfort. You only get two rolls of TP so might want to bring your own, same with garbage bags, and dishwasher tablets. Disposal of trash was less than convenient, was at the other end of the complex and didn't offer recycling. All in all it was adequate for our family vacation.

Our first trip to the outer banks was made that much more enjoy finding this gems of place to stay in KDH. Clean, well run, and courteous staff added to the very comfortable bed and the community feeling of this property, will now be on our list for next summer. You can’t go wrong!
