“The rooms looked nothing like pictured on the website. The staff didn’t help except provide an extra fan when the room was too hot. Apparently they were “fully booked” and couldn’t relocate us. The parking lot wasn’t full.. The window was open upon arrival which also had an active bird nest outside of It. With the window open bugs were all over the room. The remote didn’t have a back and couldn’t change channels. Honestly after a long day this was just awful to come to . The Manager tried……

“This is a quaint little hotel in Kinvara. The staff were very helpful. The property was cute and we could see cows from our window. We had a bit of trouble with our keys at check in and the coffee pot in the room didn’t work. The food was typical Irish breakfast. There was a restaurant in the parking lot that had great seafood chowder called Keough’s. Overall we had a lovely stay.”

After continuing our trip, we only then realized how many little details were done perfectly here and how much we missed them in the next hotel — things like USB charging ports, a refilled water carafe, or even a full kettle in the room. “The breakfast was amazing. However, we had reserved a king bed, and the bed we had was smaller than a double. Very difficult nite for sleeping. Restaurant was not open for dinner, took awhile to find something open, found the Roadside Tavern and the meal was good.”
