“Five friends and I stayed at the Mill House in May 2023. The host, Daniel, was simply a delight to meet and chat with, and gave us some really good recommendations for site-seeing which we were able to use further into our trip. The Mill House is very large, and we loved having the huge kitchen and living areas. The bathrooms were a bit dicey to be honest, but what can you expect in an historic house? To me, it was worth not having updated appliances and bathrooms in order to get to enjoy the……

“The pod was spotless and cozy. Owners’ son was friendly and helpful. Nice to have access to some streaming services. Would recommend to owners they build a boardwalk or add better drainage to path to pods to make easier access on rainy days. Overall gorgeous and quiet location. ”

“This was a very lovely house, however there was an oil leak with a VERY STRONG ODOR !! This odor gave me a headache. The owner was aware of this problem because her son came over shortly after we arrived, said that they would get someone out to repair it but after 4 nights it was not repaired.. The electric tea kettle had so much red liquid sediment in it I was afraid to use it .. The liquid hand soap dispenser was almost empty in the bathroom. No extra toilet paper was provided.”
