“Beautiful Bay view and pier access. Super clean, comfortable and attractive cottage with TONS of activity equipment in the finished and screened in lower level. Great for kids and teens but anyone would enjoy! Pet friendly, too! Highly recommend.”

Anything you might need was there for you from a few drinks to get you started, fully stocked kitchen, basic cooking needs to a whole s'mores set up! A lovely home to entertain in with all that you need to host your guests. Check in was easy and the hosts are there for you should you need anything. The deck and yard are beautiful and well appointed with a grill, lights, lots of seating and cornhole which was used for hours a day by……

“The sunrises across the sound are incredibly amazing. If that was not enough the house has the newest appliances, great layout, and 200 plus degrees of water views from the dining room table. It is ideally located for a peaceful and restorative vacation from reality. Working remotely from the dining room table was the best location yet. Thanks for the opportunity to return to my high school regional area and deepen my appreciation for the waters I miss dearly.”

It was very clean, all the "extras" were of great quality and very well thought-out....extra blankets, fully stocked kitchen with every appliance you could need, ample towels and bath supplies, complete outdoor rec gear; just to name a few. The neighborhood was quiet and the view was amazing! I can't say enough about the quality and attention to detail this house had. Thanks for everything!”

“We loved this quiet property, right on the water. The house was clean and perfect for my mom and me. I didn’t use the kitchen but it was stocked with a lot of stuff. Towels for the beach were provided, along with chairs for sitting on the beach. There is a rinse off area in the back of the house, but to turn the water on you have to go in front of the house. I absolutely would return. ”

“The home is charming and equipped with almost everything a guest could need. The location is great. Views are spectacular. We caught fish, took long walks, and explored the area. Shops and restaurants in the middle peninsula and northern neck area that we visited were very nice. The hosts were very responsive. Will try to visit every year.”

Tom and Mette’s cottage is a slice of Heaven on the Northern Neck - a rustic but very liveable, well equipped and comfortable home that reminded me of vacations at the shore with my grandparents decades ago. Love the yard and the incomparable views of the mouth of the Potomac River and Chesapeake Bay. I’m very much looking forward to my next visit!”
