"First, Caroline (on-site supervisor) couldn’t have been more kind and attentive. The unit was very basic accommodations, like a budget hotel. Specifically, beds are on the lower quality end, to the extent that one of them had to be modified with extra comforters. Bunratty is a small village, but the area is beautiful, with easy motorway access, and the restaurants and service are fantastic. We travelled by car with Bunratty being the central point. "The owners, Shane and Sinead, could not be more welcoming or helpful. The B&B is full of pleasant touches, including an in-room Nespresso machine and fresh fruit and cold water upon arrival. The beds are comfortable, the shower hot with good pressure, and the breakfast is delicious. Could not rate this place more highly. Also, Bunratty is a fun stop with the Folk Park and castle, and a few good restaurants. Perfect place to start or end your visit to Ireland on your way in or out of Shannon Airport"

"Beautiful property. Adam was very helpful and kind upon check in. Room was nice. Loved the fact that this hotel had air conditioning (we arrived during a heat wave). Plan ahead- there was no mini fridge in the suites. There is a ice machine and water bottle filler, but no ice bucket so I had to walk to the machine with a mug for ice. I'm a somewhat larger woman (16-18 US) and the robes provides were just barely too small so could not enjoy unfortunately."

"Extremely helpful and knowledgeable at the front desk, Eva made some research and phone calls that went above and beyond normal service in saving me from a disastrous night having to do with mishaps I was dealing with elsewhere. I wish I could have had breakfast but had to split early it looked great though What a cool funky hotel with a lot of character and history, reasonably priced and comfortable in the middle of a cool city were I connected with trad musicians I hope to attend again thanks Robert"
