Quirky comfy unit with good range of amenities. Close to eating, shops. Kimba was a great little town to stay overnight. Owner came to check on us re wifi issues. Lovely lady.

Our stay was short, just overnight. The room was clean, bedding comfy & with all the essentials needed. The outside of the building looks to be updgraded & well maintained, but the furniture & furnishings & bathroom are outdated.

After staying in several perfectly adequate roadhouses along the Nullarbor it was a welcome relief to stay somewhere that was homely and had character. It was the most comfortable night I had on my trip and my dog was also very comfortable too. Great communication from Chris, the host, who was very accommodating.

Clean, cosy and comfortable with all the nice little touches and knickknacks that make it feel like home. Some may not like the older retro decor, but it was the thing I loved most and the thing that will make me a return customer moving forward. I loved everything from the comfortable lounge suite, to the shaggy shower mat, to the nice smelling candle, vintage plates and captivating reads in the bookshelf. Very close, very easy walk to the pub for an excellent meal. Chris was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I honestly couldn't recommend this place more.

Nice place in nice town

Roomy unit, quiet area, good heating, plentiful hot water. Felt a little like being in someone's home. Breakfast supplies of weetbix, milk and bread provided. As others have said there are a lot of instructions around that made me feel hesitant using things but i guess the instructions are to keep the unit and it's contents in a safe condition. Only thing i was wary of was the driveway, yes could park outside each unit but the border of the driveway had been graded and there were pipes sticking out of bits of concrete and rocks which i thought could be dangerous to cars. Care needed to pass others units, 4 units, as the driveway was a bit narrow with the piled up dirt at the edges. Units are next to the butchers. Some of the town intersections were not showing street names so we had to drive around a bit to find the units.

Great location, close to pub. Had everything we needed. Lounge chairs and bed super comfy. It was a freezing night and I just couldn’t seem to get the place warm enough while watching tv. Probably due to the high ceilings. Love the era of this building and it’s great to see some in such great condition
