“They upgraded us to an air-condition tent and that probably makes my review better since it was 95° during the day. The Glam tents were great. The resort itself is nice. The restaurant is good, not great for food but the people are nice. Nice. There is a swimming pool that works. While we were there okay, half of the place was closed because of damage from typhoons. “This is a beautiful place to stay - loved the location, the stunning coastal scenery and near deserted beach where you can relax the day away in sheltered hammocks or swimming in the pristine waters. The activities offered at the retreat were great - we thoroughly enjoyed a kayak tour along the gorgeous shoreline and a guided fishing tour to Jacks Creek which was a lot of fun but the highlight was a truly wonderful sunset tour where we watched a spectacular sunset from a nearby headland as we……

“We spent 4 days at this location, and the rooms were not serviced once. Considering the cost for two rooms we felt this was pretty poor. The staff member at reception on arrival was quite rude and made the check in process a less than pleasant experience. The rooms have a hot plate but nothing to actually cook with. Rubbish bin only had one bag and whilst replacements were available at reception you had to continually be asking for items such as clean towels, bathroom amenities etc. This……

“Naming of location was misleadng. (Bell Gorge is nowhere near property which is located in a unattractive area). Staff were a bit over the season and not as willing to help as other Kimberley places we visited. Maybe could benefit from extra training or maybe difficult to attract good staff to a bad location? ”

Noise from modem was above normal levels and impacted on having a rested sleep, and staff were informed. Their response to check this out was slow and no feedback was provided to rectify this.
