You definitely pay for what you get here. The price given for a single room, I knew that it wasn't going to be luxurious. There was problems when I checked in- no record of my Wotif booking.
The room facilities are basic, with a sink, small bedside draws and that's about it. Plenty of blankets which was great to see, however the one pillow provided was useless. Didn't really have much comfort in it at all. The television and tea and coffee facilities are all in one big communal lounge area.
The bathrooms are ok- however there was only one shower curtain in the showers, so nothing for privacy when you got out to get dressed. This should be addressed.
The thing that upset me most was the next morning when staff started making noise cleaning up etc. BEFORE 6 AM!! Ok, yes, it is a small country town, and people get up early, but it's not something that everyone does. I really felt like telling them off when I checked out, but I honestly couldn't be bothered.
