"The hotel has a lot of historic Route 66 nostalgia items and murals. It's a fun stop but needs a bit more tlc. The sheets were clean and room surprisingly spacious for an older motel style room. The fridge and microwave were pretty new and worked well. The shower and tub area had some older updates and the drain was slow to drain. I wish they would just go ahead and update the tub or maybe just installation shower only. The tub area barely had room to close the door without hitting the toilet.. having said that the sink was outside the toilet and shower. That was nice so you didn't tie up the entire restroom area."
