Great getaway spot near Barnsley Gardens

My wife, and teenage son spent the long weekend at this property and were very pleased with the accommodations. Clean & comfortable inside and plenty of porch space to enjoy the quiet views outside Definitely recommend a truck or SUV to navigate the drive up the mountain from the main road!

Amazing stay

We needed a family get away from the busy city. This was absolutely perfect! So clean, cozy and welcoming and tucked away from the outside world to get some peace and quiet! We loved it & CANT wait to visit again!

Has everything you need!

Excellent home with all the amenities. Definitely need SUV due to gravel road with gullies. I had no problem with a Nissan Rogue rental. Thanks for the extra toothbrush as one of us forgot it. Saved us!Lovely master bath with washer and dryer. We loved having Netflix one evening. Kitchen very well stocked.

Such a peaceful place away from home!

We celebrated my son's high school graduation with family. It was well stocked with everything we needed. I loved the little touches all throughout the cabin. The master shower is worth the trip alone. You do need a truck to get up the road but we managed. The owner stayed in touch with us during our stay checking on us about storms and power outages. I have already planned another stay with girlfriends and can't wait to book soon.

Beautiful property, sketchy road/driveway

The road that you have to take leading up to the cabin is in really rough shape. I would like to see a little more transparency on that. My sedan made it up and back but it was an adventure. The cabin is beautiful, clean, secluded with nice amenities.

Nature Lovers Dream

This house reminds me of the cabin Mel lives in on the show Virgin River! This home is a sanctuary for cultivating peace within. We were there in October, and the trees were stunning, and the woods behind the house were a special experience. Sitting quietly and still enough, you will see foxes, frogs, squirrels, and many birds and butterflies. The sounds were a symphony of roosters, birds, frogs, and other unidentifiable sounds. It was an experience for the senses sitting on the back porch. The house was stocked with games and puzzles. The master bedroom upstairs has a deck, and I fell asleep in the afternoon on a futon on the deck. I would highly recommend this getaway. Do not attempt the road to the house without an SUV. The road is very rough! The host was responsive and accommodating.

Our trip to the cabin.

THE CABIN ITSELF WAS NICE AND WELL STOCKED BUT THE NEIGHBORS/NEIGHBORHOOD WAS A BIT SKETCHY. BEING FOLLOWED UP AND DOWN THE ROAD AND BEING PASSED ON THE ROAD WAS ALSO NOT PLEASANT. Parked vans atbottom of drive blocking the entrance/exit also wasa problem. Unfortunately would not be comfortable there again.
