Lovely stay! Everything is sparkling new and very friendly staff. Good location for exploring Cairngorms. Lots of eating options in walking distance. Good food in the hotel too.

Very happy with our stay at Star Hotel! Lovely small hotel with comfortable beds, room with great amenities, wholesome breakfast, amazing service from very friendly and welcoming staff. Central location for our trip in the highlands. Highly recommend this hotel! Will stay here again next time.

Great hotel let down by the bar below

This hotel is a gem. The room was really nice and super comfortable to boot. Staff were friendly and the breakfast was great. Only issue is the bar below was very noisy with people out on the street until the early hours (it was a Saturday night so it shut at 1pm) and I either had to have the winds open and deal with the shouting and beeping of car horns or keep it closed and sweat in the heat.

This is a beautiful hotel and very comfortable. The attention to detail is excellent and the fan in the room was definitely a bonus with the unexpected heat at this time of year. Staff were all friendly and helpful. Food was delicious in the restaurant and in the bar although more choice from the bar menu. Service was quick and food piping hot. Absolutely recommend this hotel and would stay there again if up North. Well done to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one.

Newer property with nice amenities, restaurant ans sports bar on site. We did have dinner at the restaurant but we didn't enjoy our food(lentil soup was tasteless, chicken stroganoff had too much onion etc...) Small room but pretty comfortable. When i woke up i had bed bug bites all over my body. I did taqlk to front desk about it and they said they will investigate, other than that i would stay there again.
