“Our family gathered, and stayed in two different locations because my daughter is terminally ill. She lives on base with her soldier husband and the location of this VRBO certainly helped in being so close to the base. The property is lovely, clean, very comfortable and accommodating. The host was very communicative and understanding of our situation.. Even though I did not meet Yessica, I felt a connection with her and truly appreciated her kindness.”

Kitchen was well stocked and the bathrooms had plenty of towels, soaps and shampoos. The game room and basketball goal were great for the teens in our group. “We basically only slept at this property since we had preplanned events booked the entire duration of our stay. The beds are very comfortable. The showers have nice hot water and the master bedroom had plenty of space. The decor was nice and it had an at home feel. They left grab n go treats for their guests which I thought was a nice gesture. Especially since we didn’t come to sleep until late in the evening and had to be right back out early the next two mornings. The only minor complaint……

“The title of the property, "Beach House Blue", leads you to think the beach is near - it is NOT. It is a great place to stay for events happening around Laurel Hill, in my case, it was a wedding, or for a group wanting to go hunting. Destin or Ft. Walton Beach is about an hour's drive south without traffic. The house was clean, had everything you could need in the kitchen, has a nice screened in porch which was a great place to have coffee in the morning and watch the deer roaming around! I……

“The rooms were not set up as advertised (3 king beds) but it all worked out. After cleaning, repairing and organizing some things, we all settled in and had a great time. There needs to be an info packet in the house for renters. That way the owners wouldn't have to be bothered to find out things like trash pick up days.”
