Karpaha Sands is an exceptional hotel in an idyllic location, with stunning ocean views and truly paradise-like surroundings. The property is beautifully maintained and even more impressive than the photos. Every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable, and the owner personally ensures that every detail is perfect. The housekeeping was impeccable, the food prepared by the chef was excellent, and we especially loved the outdoor cinema under the stars. A charming and unique place that offers a truly extraordinary experience. We couldn’t recommend it more highly.

If you wanted to keep this place a little secret, you almost shouldn’t write a review – but that wouldn’t be fair. Reality actually exceeds the pictures. What makes the stay unforgettable is not only the beautiful accommodation and surroundings, but also the extremely well-organized service through the butler system and the incredibly knowledgeable and efficient restaurant staff. You truly feel seen and cared for as a guest. Behind it all, you can also sense an experienced and highly professional management team clearly working with the guests’ best interests in mind. A place that manages to combine relaxed luxury with genuine care. I would truly love to come back.

Das Karpaha Sands ist das beste Hotel, das wir in Sri Lanka hatten! Die Anlage ist schlicht edel, mit einem Hauch Afrika. Das Personal ist gut ausgebildet, sehr freundlich und hat gelegentlich Zeit für ein kleines Gespräch.

Wonderful resort! Best place I have discovered in Sri Lanka...golden sands and no crowds. After staying here, I would not consider going to the south of Sri Lanka. Truly a world class experience, very well decorated and the tent like accommodations are the best!
