“We wanted to love this place but could not help but feel that we were duped. Some creative photography was used at this location. The fire pit depicted in the photographs bears no resemblance to the actual fire pit present on the property. The house itself could benefit from a thorough cleaning, as evidenced by the excessive dust on the blinds and the persistent, unpleasant odor that is frequently detected (a combination of burnt popcorn and animal-like scents). Additionally, the absence of air……

“The property was great and we were so appreciative that dogs were allowed. The description lists that the loft ceiling is low but should be noted that it is so low that an average height individual cannot stand without crouching way over. For most people not a problem but may be for some. Our stay was great and the area was very quiet. Close to many amenities.”

“What a dump!! Worst VRBO I have ever rented unfortunately. The property is in disrepair and not as advertised in a few categories. The shack smelled horribly of thick tobacco smoke and old must throughout the entire house. The smell was so bad we kept the home open with all fans on the entire period we stayed. The smell was so bad our clothes and belongings now reek of it coming home. No WiFi or check in instructions provided. Overall a very bad experience and horrible excuse for a mountain……

“A perfect location. Easy to get around the Lake Tahoe area. Very comfortable beds. Most of all, my wife brought her own pillow and didn’t use it. Even the pillows are perfect.”

“We had the pleasure of staying at the Cozy Cub Cabin in South Lake Tahoe. The cabin is perfectly situated in a cabin community with about 15 other cabins. We visited in mid-September and found the area to be very quiet. The cabin had everything you need, kitchen essentials and bath essentials. The cabin is charming and rustic. The main sleeping quarters consists of a queen bed and the room is a bit tight. The bed comfort is our only negative complaint. It was not very comfortable, however the……

“Easy to communicate with the host, clean cabin in a great location!”

“Everything was perfect and great location to everything .”

“It was a nice little place. We came to Tahoe for a concert at Caesar. It’s close to things that are unique to Tahoe. We liked that it was away from the craziness of downtown or heavenly. The host was amazing. He communicated quickly and was so very helpful. We would definitely consider staying her again.”

“The cabin was perfectly comfy and cozy. It was just enough room for my wife and I, plus our little dog. The cabin was decorated nicely, nothing too fancy, but it was very accommodating. The cabin had a ceiling fan that circulated the air and keeping it from getting stuffy. There is an additional floor fan that oscillates. Good sized fridge, microwave, oven, gas stove, there is a Keurig coffee maker but I had a hard time figuring out how to use it, and what buttons to push to get it to brew,……

“A very quiet few days that we needed to reboot. A central location tucked away in the forest.”
