“We arrived at the establishment around 930pm east check in but place in terrible condition, moldy, no AC in any room, fans are from 1900 only thing new is fridge. When we came back I was short of breath coz the moldy condition was so bad my larynx literally swole and I couldn’t speak at all. They didn’t have other rooms to switch us to so we had to leave thirty mins after arriving to a better sanitary place. I’m sorry but they need to be shut down and fix their insufficiencies. I understand one……

“What's there to say about a hotel started in 1972? If you're looking for modern amenities, you won't find it here. If you're looking for a time capsule of Swahili culture, you will find it here. Rooms have AC, a 3 pools were excellent, ocean view was excellent as well. Breakfast was authentically Swahili with really good mahamris. ”

“The hotel is boring. Unless you’re going to just have a quiet vacation. Bring your own towels. Theirs are old and gross. Bathrooms are dirty. Phone in room never worked and was never fixed even after request. Fridge is filthy and barely works. Glass shelf is dusty. Tiles in the pool are chipped/broken/ or missing. But the staff was pleasant for sure. Overall I cannot recommend this hotel. I would never stay there again. The amount of money I paid here was not worth it at all. ”
