This property needs a major renovation. Stained carpets, peeling wood on doors and cabinets, ancient bathroom fixtures, problematic plumbing, weak and flimsy locks. The cleaning staff do their best, but there is only so much they can do for this decaying property. My advice: book early and stay elsewhere. I would have stayed elsewhere but I had to go last minute and other reasonable hotels were fully booked.

If you book with a third party you have to pay for breakfast, was confirmed a bottom floor room did not get that, super noisy and the time of year lots of fishermen and so had to deal with crappy parking and people leaving bags of fish guts outside their rooms

Advertised as pet friendly. We paid for a king room through Expedia. When we arrived they said there were no pet friendly king rooms available and asked for $30 more for a queen room. Eventually the supervisor was called and they did not charge us extras for the lesser room. The experience felt unjust and was totally exhausting after a long driving day. If a guest books and pays for a king room in a pet friendly hotel and one is not available then the hotel should do their best to remedy the situation, not attempt to charge more for a lesser room. The $30 extra was on top of the known $20 pet fee.

Best breakfast in town, you choose from 5 options, massive portions, non alcoholic beverage included. Was also given a voucher to use at the recreation center or the pool. Rooms were extremely clean and cozy. Was given a little gift bag upon arrival with some snacks. Will definitely be staying here again!! Chalet goes above and beyond
