"I stayed 2 nights at Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Tempe, and this was one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. The shower faucet did not work upon arrival, and we waited over an hour for assistance. Even after it was “fixed,” it wouldn’t shut off properly, leaving a constant dripping noise all night for two days. When we requested additional towels after using the pool, we were given what appeared to be floor towels instead of proper bath towels, which felt disrespectful and unacceptable. There was also broken glass on the grass outside our room, creating a serious safety hazard, especially for children. When I raised these issues at checkout, the only follow-up I received was an email trying to sell me points. No real apology, no accountability. Very disappointing experience. I would not recommend this hotel."

"We were in room 315. This is a room in need of renovation. Peeling paint in the bathroom. Dirty baseboards. The freezer wasn't keeping ice. Cream frozen and was noisy. The grounds were well maintained."

"The place was FILTHY. The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in 47 years. "

"The person who checked us into the room was in India and we interacted through a kiosk in the tiny office. The English of the person was bad and they didn't understand me. For example, he kept saying "two others". I kept telling him there was just two of us. I'm not an others. Many extra step than it usually takes to check in. I needed to scan my badge for him, since he was in India. Also, he needed a picture of me posing while holding up my ID. Not just me, but also my adult son had to provide an ID and pose with it. And the rental car license plate number was mandatory. Can't check in without it. The door to the room was bowed in and barely functional. There was no shampoo in the room. Our room was above the garbage dumpster, and the early morning trash pickup was very loud. Crazy place."

"This place is in terrible condition. They made cosmetic updates but it is still a very aged building. The hot tub wasn't hot. I asked for extra towels and two staff told me no, they were to busy and the laundry room was to far away. After dark, the property did not feel safe. "

"Bathroom was not cleaned properly. Outside garbage by entrance door was overflowing when we arrived late afternoon and had not been emptied the next morning. Garbage had spread to the parking lot. Would not stay here again. "
