“The staff at La Perla were super friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. The room was very clean but basic and more African style rather than modern which for me was the attraction. The pool area is extremely clean and there’s plenty of sun beds both around it and on the beach. Food is the restaurant is very decent and doesn’t cost the earth. The view of the beach from the restaurant is amazing. The resort doesn’t sell alcohol but the restaurant next door does if that’s important to you.”

“Das Hotel ist neu, und das merkt man hier und da schon. Gewisse Abläufe funktionieren noch nicht so. Das ist aber normal. Der Aufenthalt dort war aber trotzdem super, würde sofort wiederkommen. Super nettes Personal, eine traditionelle Küche, mit internationalem Flair. Der Pool gefiel sehr gut und die Strandnähe war top und wir hatten immer genügend Platz. Super Hotel!”

“Beautiful”

“Excellent location. We had money go missing from our room. Check in was very impersonal and after a full days travel we were required to line up again to fill out an pay the government tax, surly this can be done anytime during the stay. The person who took us to our room gave us no information about the place room wise or resort wise. They talk a good service ethic but as far as I was concerned service was non existent. Overpriced for the standard of the overall experience. To make the stay……

“DO NOT STAY HERE Room smelt of sewage, I got sick after eating the lunch and dinner, with projectile vomiting, stomach cramps, and fever. Beach is advertised as private it is not. Hawkers are at the beach 24/7 and come onto the hotel property to harass guests. Management refuse to intervene and when asking for assistance they say it is normal to be harassed and you asked for it by staying there. Management were verbally aggressive and intimating to the point we could not get food or drinks at……

“Room was clean, staff exceptionally nice, area looked like paradise”

“This property is underrepresented , it’s a well balanced blend of nature and contemporary living , with private pods you could confuse for a mini yatch, the lounges , swimming pools , live entertainment, excursions and yet most important is the most courteous staff , where anything with a possibly of discomfort is met with gentle and expedited resolution that you even forget it happened. The distance from the airport is eclipsed by the shuttle service and revelation of this serene and……

“Vi havde generelt et godt ophold. Servicen var god, og de ansatte var imødekommende og kommunikerende. Værelset var fint, og AC virkede upåklageligt. Eneste minus var badeværelset, som var uden afskærmet brusekabine og bestemt ikke lever op til standarden for et godt hotel. Hotellet har god beliggenhed helt ned til havet, og stranden er dejlig og umiddelbart mindre turistet end andre steder på Zanzibar. ”

“The accommodations, food, and service were incredible! ”

“Beautifully laid out, beach right out every front door, very clean, staff was helpful and friendly, great food and a quiet but still family atmosphere. You can tell the owners give a lot of attention to the details. Pool was so clean and beautiful. Also the landscaping was stunning and gave it an upscale resort feel while still having an intimate feel. They set up an excursion and airport ride and made the whole process easy. Would HIGHLY recommend this place and would stay here again!”
