Kylen fick bytas 2 gånger! Det var vinkylar men tredje gången fick vi en riktig kylskåp. Poolen var inte ren men det beror på att thailändarna går från havet med kläderna på och fortsätter med kläderna på i poolen . Personalen i receptionen sa lngenting när vi gick förbi förutom en kvinna

Property was great but Expedia placed it on the same page as Ko Sumet so I booked it. Turns out it’s about 30 Kilometers from KoSumet. It’s not on the island. I don’t know why Expedia placed it on the KoSumet page which threw me off big time. Not a good thing to show up to the pier and then have to take a cab to the hotel.

Nice hotel & lovely staff
Stayed here for a long stay initially booking via Hotels.com and then afterwards directly. Good setup and room is well serviced every day, with new linen. Laundry service available and for other things and information the reception staff are very informative and helpful. Pool, sauna etc all on site and you can cross the road to the sea thats how close by it is. There is a restaurant next door Metz where breakfast and meals are available, nice food and again nice service from the staff.

I arrived in Thailand after deciding to work remotely for the UK but from Thailand, so its a working holiday. I was worried about the facilities but found that the Internet and business facilities are adequate for my needs. Allowing me to work without disruption. The hotel is situated opposite Mae Phim Beach ⛱ a fantastic spot. The hotel has a restaurant attached to it called Metz and its offers a fair deal of variety. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 certain establishments in the locality are not open. The staff at the hotel are spot on and very helpful. Especially the manager Pierre and Mam the receptionist who have gone out of their way to accommodate my needs.

OUR NEW FAVORITE PLACE
The rooms are terrific. So is the swimming pool. On-site restauarnt and waterfront location. We upgraded to the large Penthouse Suite, got a good price, full kitchen, best sea view imaginable, large oceanfront balcony with fully functioning jacuzzi type spa. The large clean beautiful swimming pool and lounge chairs might have been our favorite, but there is also a large number of waterfront seafood restaurants nearby and a 2 minute walk.to the nearby 7-11. Great value and really good service from the staff - Khun Mam in particular was perfect.

Fantastiskt hotell fast med smutsig pool.
Allt var bra förutom att poolen inte var ren. Renings systemet är troligtvis underdimensionerat. Där står flera stora skyltar som säger att det beror på att folk som använder poolen har solskydd på sig eller kissar i poolen. De problemen finns nog i alla pooler på alla hotell över världen. Men alla andras reningssystem klarar av att hantera detta. Det är synd att dem inte får ordning på detta för i övrigt är det ett fantastiskt hotell. Men poolen är ju ändå för oss en stor anledning att vi bokade detta hotell över andra.

Our room had some problems
We have stayed in this hotel many times and usually it´s great. But this time things in our room didn´t work properly. There was no hot water in shower, fridge light never goes off, TV remote control did not respond well. Although most issues were resolved quickly by technician, the hotel should have prepared a ready-to-use room for customers before check in. Also the parking was full so we had to park in the next door parking. Although it belongs to same company I heard, I didn´t feel as safe and convenient.

Det aller meste er bra, men noen viktige ting kan med små midler gjøres enda bedre. Det burde være unødvendig å betale for å ha håndklær på rommet, spesielt når det ene håndkledet ble fjernet uten at jeg hadde bedt om det. Det er lite trivelig at gråspurv går i maten og spiser av brød, fruktm sauser og lignende under frokosten. Jeg påpekte dette også til personalet under frokosten to dager. Fugler er bærere av parasitter og bakterier/virus som kan forårsake sykdom hos mennesker. Ved å dekke til all maten, for elsempel i gjennomsiktige skap eller (brød-)bokser, kan dette unngås. Personalet må ta dette på alvor! Ellers svært hyggelig betjening på hotellet, og et fint sted å slappe av. Det er ikke så mye å gjøre i omgivelsene. Vi besøkte et skilpaddeklekkeri, men det var en skuffelse. Vi fikk vite at eggene ble samlet inn og klekket på klekkeriet, og at de ble der i all tid etterpå. Snorkling på noen grunne områder ved Man Klang var også en skuffelse. Mange grå og "kjedelige" småfisk, men en nedtur for folk som har snorklet med fargerike fisk for eksempel i Rødehavet. Jeg anbefaler ikke å bruke penger på dette, noe heller ikke mine 16 studenter som var med ville gjøre.

Nice hotel
This is a nice new, modern hotel across the road from Mae Phim beach. Good, big pool area. Offers a very good buffet breakfast and a good variety of Asian and Western food dishes from the lunch/dinner menu.

Good position, nice clean hotel but terrible breakfast and even worse breakfast staff. Just no interest to want to be there. One young guy more interested in his mobile than guests. A lot of the food bread, cereals put out were stale. Again no interest from staff. Obviously they don’t appreciate a paying job in quiet times in Thailand

This hotel is awesome. We arrived earlier than checkin time but the staff was so quick and let us checked in early (we didn’t even have to ask). The breakfast buffet doesn’t really have much choices but it wasn’t that bad. The location is also fantastic as the beach is right across the street & a few choices of restaurants that are close by. The staff are excellent; very kind and speaks english. We will definitely choose this hotel again if we get a chance to come back.

enjoyment that is accessible
This was our 2nd time. It was even better than I remembered. Everything from pool, beach, restaurants, shops are all easily accessible. I even discovered a sauna room this time. Nice baby pool and huge adult pool. Clean and look pleasant. The only improvement needed is better wifi, a curtain on the bathroom window for privacy, and easier-to-use key for glass door of ground floor room.

Vi, en familj på 2 vuxna och två barn, 9 och 10 år, bodde 3 nätter på Grand Blue Resor. Bra fräscht familjerum med rymlig balkong. Stor pool med många gratis solstolar. Frukosten drar ner betyget något pga att det ofta var slut på t.ex frukt och när man bad om påfyllning kunde det komma en suck. Det låg även hårstrå i maten och fåglar ”badade” i skålarna där uppläggningsbesticken låg. Några bra lunch/kvällsrestauranger samt supermarket i närheten. Mae Phim ”centrum” ligger en bit bort och det är svårt att få tag på taxi. Därför rekommenderas moped eller bil för att transportera sig!
