Everything We Hoped For And More

We came here to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our children and their families. Loved the homey atmosphere. The well stocked kitchen, the large yard, the family room, and the game room were all big plusses. Our favorite sightseeing spot was Fern Canyon. We did miss the refrigerator ice maker not working.

Perfect Vacation Home with Big Family

Plenty of space for a large group!!! Game room was constantly in use when we were back at the house. We had trouble finding the house late at night (no fault of the owner) use Apple Maps over Google maps! Also make sure to check out the lighthouse & SeaFront Bakery Co. in Crescent City. Thank you again for the amazing stay!!!

Beautiful, expansive house

This is a well cared for property with plenty of room, comfortable beds, and total care all through. It is a great base for exploring the redwoods north and south. Strong internet. Recommend a trip to a larger grocery on the way there as the local offerings are smaller.

Great Place, well stocked

This was a great place with plenty of room and all the amenities we needed. We loved hanging out on the wrap around porch or in the family room with the fire place watching movies or playing games in the evening. It’s a great location for taking day trips to the Redwoods or many beaches.

Klamath getaway

We enjoyed the stay a lot. We also were presently surprised when we saw everything the house had to offer. The location is perfect and I genuinely enjoyed the country feel this property offered. We will definitely be coming back.

Redwoods Getaway

We loved that this house felt like home! The kids loved the game room and running around in the backyard. The adults loved the fully stocked kitchen and peacefully setting after a long day exploring the Redwoods. We would definitely rent this house again!

Great Stay for Families

The property was gorgeous, and the house was clean and spacious. It was well stocked with kitchen supplies, laundry necessities, and info on things to do in the Redwoods. The views were 10/10, and the yard was perfect for our rowdy crew of toddlers and kids to run wild and climb trees. Definitely recommend. Thanks for a great stay!

Everything was really really fun &by forests and beaches!

Only issue was couldn't find printer nor phone. Rooms absolutely perfect for our group of 9. All areas were enjoyed. The large turntable Scrabble board was a hit. My adult daughter got to enjoy that game for the first time ever! Thank you for the opportunity to make such wonderful NorCal memories. Expect a reservation from us again.

Roomy house

Extra large house with a lot of space to spread out. The neighborhood was a little run down but the house felt safe and clean. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of towels/amenities. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes/pots etc. Thank you for a great stay.

Family trip to Redwoods

Family of 8 (7 adults + child) had the perfect space to gather, have privacy, prepare meals & enjoy a variety of activites for 4 days in this beautiful valley home. Wow! Truly met all our needs, was well supplied, had great info on local venues & sightseeing. So wished we had more time to enjoy all it had to offer. Hope we can return again! And highly recommend!!

Serene and Beautiful

We stayed in mid March. It rained several days, but was so pretty. The house was very accomadating and had a nice big yard. The kids played volleyball, horseshoes, and just enjoyed the outdoors. The beds were luscious, home was clean, and perfect for our little family getaway.

Wonderful House

We stayed at the house during our trip to explore Redwood National and State Parks. The house was wonderful for our group of 9 (4 adults, 5 kids). The kids loved the large backyard and the game room. We enjoyed the outdoor firepit and the beautiful view from the back porch. Everyone had their own space to wind down at night and the beds were so comfortable. If we visit the area again, we would easily stay here and we would 100% recommend this to anyone coming to the area. This was one of the best properties we have stayed at and was an excellent home base for our summer trip.

Everyone wanted to move in!

It's a beautiful home, with a spacious backyard, and wonderful scenery. Convenient for visiting the Redwoods. The kids immediately wanted to buy the place! Prepare to unplug: the cell phone service is poor, and the wi-fi isn't much better. Focus on the beauty around you, chill out by the campfire, or sip a drink in a rocking chair on the porch. Such an amazing house! We loved it!!

Wonderful base camp for Redwood park adventures

The house and yard are lovely and comfortable. Lots of little added amenities that made the stay easier. Easy access and a full range of kitchen and laundry supplies. With kids and teens, this made our stay more comfortable. Fun accessories like frisbees, pool table, and a large range of DVDs kept the kids happy when we weren't adventuring. Excellent communication with the host. Be aware that internet access is very limited in the area. Great way to unplug but paper maps might be a good idea if you want to adventure around the parks.
