Because of the location at hay position there is a clean ear and the nights are pleasant even in the hottest summer days.

Klis has a rich history; in the 9th century it was the seat of Croatian kings and in that capacity it was the Croatian capital. In this honor, the last weekend of July, the reconstruction of the live battle at Kliška tvrđava is held.
