"The apartment was really good. We were able to walk to the train station for the Jacobite Steam Train. We were surprised and delighted to find a clothes washing machine and we were able to get some much needed laundry done. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery and cutlery. A very enjoyable stay. "

"This was our best stay on our whole trip to Scotland. While, it was a little off the beaten path, it provided a quiet, cosy oasis after we had been staying in towns in lodges without parking for our car. Achmore had ample parking on site. Ida met us at our car and showed us to our room while loading more fire wood in the pot belly stove in room. It was a lovely site as we walked in! So warm and cosy. "I stayed at this hotel alone with my dog. Dogs are welcome throughout the hotel. I was able to take him with me to dinner and breakfast, he was allowed in the bar, and there was a special area for guests with dogs next to the restaurant. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and well-maintained. The view of the sea from the window was wonderful. The area is peaceful. I would definitely stay there again."
