Hidden gem, but transport is bit expensive

This is quite isolated from the other beaches, so transport to lonely beach could cost like 1000baht. There is two decent and but pricey restaurants at the area. Beach is very big, nice and quiet. Hotel reception is not easy to find because it is in different building few hunred meters away. Room is big and clean. Staff is very nice too.

The room was very large with a couch and chair, the patio was also a good size with table and chairs. Breakfast buffet was awesome as was the whole property. Amazing sunsets.

Habe von der Fähre angerufen und vom Pier abgeholt ( 200 Baht ) .Man muss immer zuerst zum ein od. auschecken zum Office , das für alle Buchungen zuständig ist . Ich habe im Marina Sands 7 Nächte gewohnt . Zimmer sehr schön und gross mit Balkon , leider ohne Wäscheständer . I Tisch mit 2 Sessel , leider in die Jahre gekommen .Füsse total verrosstet .Frühstück lecker verschiedene warme Speisen , Toast , Wurst Käse Marmelade , wer das umbedingt auch im Urlaub essen muß , das er das ganze Jahr auch zu Hause isst . Es gibt 2 Pools , das Meer ist eher flach und schlammig , Strand beim Shamballa beach leider mit Sandflöhen , war nacher völlig abgebissen . Gratis Shuttelsrrvice oder einen Scooter mieten , ab 250 Baht pro Tag .

Unser Zimmer hatte reichlich Platz und war sehr sauber bei der Ankunft. Das Personal war auch immer sehr freundlich. Als wir uns ein Moped ausleihen wollten wurde sich umgehend darum gekümmert; der Vermieter war sogar persönlich bei uns mit einem Moped, da bei der ersten Anfrage leider keine zur Verfügung standen. Der Shuttle-Service innerhalb der Anlage ist äußerst praktisch, wenn man kein Moped hat. Beide Pools sind ausreichend groß genug, um seine Bahnen zu schwimmen oder einfach nur eine Abkühlung zu nehmen. Besonders bei Dämmerung empfehlen wir den größeren Pool beim Beach Club, weil die Beleuchtung einfach wunderschön war. Das Feuerwerk am Strand zu Silvester war mega! Die Korallen an der Siam Royal Pier sind sogar noch teilweise intakt, man konnte viele Fische beobachten. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und die warmen Gerichte variieren täglich, und die tolle Aussicht ist natürlich atemberaubend. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmstens weiterempfehlen und würden auch jederzeit gerne wieder kommen. Danke für die tolle Zeit!

Stort område

Marina Sands är ett nytt hotell i ”västerländsk” stil som ligger i ett gated community. Inom området har man tillgång till tre pooler, flera träningsanläggningar och restauranger. Området är ganska stort och det går en shuttlebuss en gång i timmen mellan alla delar. Prisläget på restaurangerna är relativt högt. Det finns inte direkt något i närheten av området, andra restauranger tex. Då får man ta sig iväg med taxi. Vi bodde i ett stort och fint inrett hotellrum med två sovrum och två balkonger med fin utsikt. Bra frukost med både thailändska och västerländska rätter. Inom området finns det ett korallrev där det är fint att snorkla.

Star rating did not match service level. Pictures and description of facilities were giving a more convenient idea than reality. All facilities and amenities were scattered far from each other and hotel was not near any of those.

Pristine location, extraordinary service

We stayed at Marina Sands for a family vacation and were extremely pleased. Our room was large, extremely clean and well equipped, overlooking a quiet river. There are two beautiful beaches at walking distance, and with a free shuttle bus service. There are a few restaurants, which are delicious. Everything was perfect, but what really made our stay memorable was the kind and attentive customer service. Paew went well out of her way on several occasions to assure our stay was a pleasant one. We are extremely thankful for such friendly and attentive care. Thank you, Paew.

ไปครั้งแรก ประทับใจมากเลยค่ะ ห้องพักสะอาด พนักงานบริการดีมาก น่ารักทุกคนเลยค่ะ ถึงแม้ที่พักจะไม่ได้ติดชายหาดเลย แต่เดินไปไม่ไกลมากค่ะ เสียดายวันที่ไปฝนตกทั้งวัน ถ้าไม่ตกรูปคงสวยกว่านี้ค่ะ แนะนำเลยค่ะ ราคาไม่แพงด้วย
