Lovely hotel on the ocean

Nice hotel and good location. The warm and clear ocean. Nice staff, delicious food and great cottages. The sound of the ocean is simply mesmerizing.

Absolutely breathtaking. View is outstanding, very quiet, beautiful kind staff. Food is yummy. Room is basic and clean but what more do you need when paradise is at the doorstep!

We stayed January for 3 nights. Yes it’s dated - yes it’s in a quiet location. I stayed in a Bungalow on the Beach. Clean and had a kettle and Fridge TV Wi-Fi. Perfect for a Get Away from it all. Booked an extra night stay and will be back again. 9/10 from Me.

Perfect spot on north side slo3w pace and best beach on White sand. Rooms okay but the are in the lower end, they have what you need hot water, A/C, refrigerator. The bed's are great. But everything is old, a lot is soso. But if you don't care its a great place.

We had a little trouble with the water pressure in the shower. Staff fixed it. Great staff here, great food, great beach. Access road is very steep, it's a bit of a walk to reach stores, other restaurants. Great for privacy.

The property is great location next to the sea, The staff was friendly and great service, they are working very hard.(thank you ☺️) The management need to refurbish of the property as looking rundown. Shorted of staff has waiting for the food nearly 2 hours.

The location is the best & quietest part of white sands beach - right at the Northern end. I love it. Some people will not like it as it's approx 20 mins to walk along the beach to town. Road is much further & a taxi possible but not easy. Our beach hut is right on the beach - 10 meters from the sea! Accommodation is basic but clean. If you want new & luxury you will not find it here.....Receptionist and manager speak English & are helpful. Perfect for a couple looking for a quiet location and happy to walk into town.

I love White Sand Beach Resort. I have been here many times in many different seasons and this time it was clearly out of season and quiet. A lone monkey visitor graces us with his presence on occasion. I love the fact that the huts are in the beach and a few steps from the sea. Yes, the huts are plain and simple but everything you need is there. You can sleep to the sound of the waves and wake to the same sound. Sitting on the little verandah at night counting the light of the squid boats on the horizon is another pleasure. If you want more life it is just a walk away down the Long Beach for more restaurants and fire show action. Alternatively, you can arrange a lift into town at the reception. Staff are really sweet and very keen to please. It remains a favourite of mine.

I liked the positions of the bungalows - right on the beach. The beach is lovely too and the sunsets are brilliant. The breakfast buffet is distinctly average and wraps up by 10am. My partner made it once. Some menu items are lovely but dependant on who is in the kitchen that day - we had the tom yum soup a lot and some days really mild and others super spicy. One day it was more green than red...! Definately not the cleanest place I have ever stayed but tolerable. They clean on their own timetable as well. It is a bit random. Too many flies in the restaurant. It is run down - the photos advertising it on here are old. Some of the staff are lovely but strike me as a bit jaded, used to changing faces. Do not come here expecting luxury. Come for a reasonable priced hut on a nice beach, not miles from civilisation

Liked the wood hut with thatched roof under the palm trees 3 meters from the sandy beach...but did not care for the old worn bed linen, dirty civer, really unhealthy breakfast, 2 star inexperienced staff , unkept surroundings, and cheap shower jell with no soap...thumbs down

This resort is a throw back to times past when backpackers stayed in 100 baht bunglows. However, these are far newer and better constructed. In addition, all the modern luxuries such as air con and television are included. They don't build resorts like this anymore in Thailand.
