A tranquil retreat in the nice city of Miyazaki, embraced by the beauty of nature
2/10 Terrible
"The pictures on the listing are not of the actual property. The actual property looks like a frat crash house. It is not a tranquil escape! The master bedroom bed was only a box spring. The bathroom and washroom were covered with mold. We arrived to piles of trash outside the front door. Even though we were scheduled and had paid for three nights, we left after one night."
"The Holiday Inn at Miyazaki is an excellent hotel directly located at the beach. Not only is this your place if you are a surfer but also it is ideally located to do a trip down south along the coast of Kyushu. Our sea side room was spacious and clean. Several good restaurants are in walking distance."
"Route Inn has become my go to for budget stays in towns and cities. I have used them 3 times in the last 2 weeks. Here, Saiki and Yukuhashi. Rooms are a bit bigger than average, renovated, clean, all amenities. They all have onsen type facilities (including Schick shaving foam), staff are great. Breakfast always included. "
Good old comfortable Japanese house, completely private space, "Private lodging KUMANO" Easy access to Aoshima Shrine and the world's best surfing spots.
10/10 Excellent
"We loved our stay in this traditional Japanese home! Kibana is a beautiful area surrounded by nature. We didn't have a car, but it only took about 10 minutes to walk to the train station, and 20-25 minutes to walk to either A-Coop, MaxValu, or Direx grocery stores. Same for the Lawson, FamilyMart, or 7-11. Aoshima is only a few train stops away. The Kumano staff was great at communicating via email. The use of a bike (with a lock) made trips to the grocery store a lot quicker. Just don't ride at night because there is no light "
