Hideaway Villa is an exquisite tropical style villa located in the unspoiled south of Koh Samui, just 150 mtrs from local Laem Set beach. It is the perfect enchanting getaway for couples and families, accommodating for up to 4 guests.

This elegant and beautiful Villa has 2 double en-suite Bedrooms with salt water swimming pool, open plan Balinese/Thai Living area, Indoor Living area with air conditioning, fully fitted Kitchen, lush tropical gardens and a wrap around Lotus Pond with colourful carp, catfish and turtles.

Beautiful Balinese/Thai style open plan Living area has large flat screen SMART tv with Netflix, Youtube etc. There is also an open plan Dining area. Both the Living and Dining areas have beautiful views to the pool, Lotus pond and garden area.

Indoor Living area with air conditioning and also has a large flat screen TV with Netflix, Youtube etc. Bookcase filled with selection of books to read.

Fully fitted Kitchen has french doors that open out to an attractive garden terrace. The Kitchen has a large fridge/freezer, gas hob, toaster, microwave, blender, kettle, coffee maker, washing machine etc.

There is a lovely salt water swimming pool with decking and sun beds, where you can step out from both the Living room or one of the Bedrooms, with its opening double doors, onto the sun deck into the pool. Gas BBQ is located along the poolside where you can cook fresh meat and fish bought from the local market or Superstores. Outside rain shower.

Around the pool are lush tropical plants and flowers, together with a lovely wrap around Lotus Pond filled with turtles, colourful carp and catfish. Guests often love to feed the fish and turtles who come up for their feed with the fish food that we provide.

Spacious Bedroom One en suite has air conditioning, large overhead fans, fitted wardrobes and a king size double bed. Double doors lead out to the decking and salt water pool.

Tropical style Bathroom with terrazzo bath tub, separate walk in shower and vanity unit. The Bathroom has beautifully and uniquely been created within surrounding lush tropical greenery, and with the classic look of terrazzo to bathroom walls.

Spacious Bedroom Two en-suite is located on the upper floor with its own entrance, providing privacy from the main villa. The Bedroom has air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and a king size double bed.

Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service:

All towels and linen provided. The villa is cleaned after every 3 nights, with change of clean bed linen and towels also after every 3 nights. Small bottle of shower gel and shampoo provided for the first night.

Neighbourhood description:

Located in the charming area of Laem Set, Hideaway Villa is only 150 meters to a local secluded beach and a 5 min drive to many fine Thai restaurants serving both delicious Thai and Western cuisine. You will discover coffee shops, Thai massage shops, individual shops, local travel agencies and taxi services.

Local Laem Set beach, a 5 min walk from Hideaway Villa, is a lovely natural area. It has mangroves, palm trees and sandy beach, retaining a tranquil and peaceful charm. It is not a touristy beach with lots of attractions. This can hold an appeal where will not find crowds of people and hawkers. The water can be shallow and safe for swimming which can be ideal with small children.

Enjoy a quiet massage on the beach in front of the clear waters, or enjoy a meal and drink at the popular Cool Bar situated right on the beach.

Also within a 5 min walk of Hideaway villa is Centara Villas Resort which opens its doors to non residents and have many facilities to enjoy, including numerous restaurants and bars.

Five minutes away by motorbike or car you have the fishing village of Baan Hua Thanon where fresh fish, fruit and vegetables are sold daily at the local market. There are also many local shops here, together with doctor's surgery, restaurants and a Chinese temple.

Amphoe Ko Samui Stadium, also a 5 min drive away, is home to many popular sports events, where visitors can come to watch the activities. It is located in an attractive area, surrounded by a lake/reservoir where there is a football field, basketball etc and you can also walk around or jog with lots of shade. Also outdoor fitness park with brightly coloured exercise equipment which is free to use.

The seaside town of Lamai, the second largest on the island and superior to the congested Chaweng, is just 10 minutes away by motorbike or car where you can fine dine in one of the many beach side restaurants, shop, or just relax in one of the many watering holes Lamai has to offer and watch the world go by.

For grocery shopping there are the Superstores, Lotus's and Makro in Lamai, a 12 min drive away, and 24hr Tesco Express just less than 5 minute drive.

Slightly further a field you can watch the locals with the monkeys that collect the coconuts from the trees, go Elephant trekking, water sports, excellent Thai cookery classes, Thai boxing, amongst many other activities and entertainment.

The southern part of the island, where the villa is located, remains pretty much unspoiled, especially compared to the north. It still has that rustic charm appeal that the whole of Samui boasted years ago. We are frequently told by guests they find the Thai people in this southern part of the island extremely hospitable, and welcoming. In the north where it is far more crowded and touristy on the island there is not always the opportunity to discover the true warmth and charm of the local people.

We can assist you with the rental of a car or moped to travel around the island.

Please note: All our cars are insured, with the guest being responsible, and limited, for the first 20,000 Baht of any damage. There is no insurance on mopeds where the guest pays for any damage incurred.

It is the guests' responsibility to ensure that they also have their own comprehensive Travel & Health Insurance, and appropriate driving documentation for Thailand.

All our vehicles will have a full tank of petrol for you. Please ensure that you return the vehicle at the end of your stay with a full tank.

No ‘off-roading’ or driving in harsh terrain. The rental car is not to be driven off the island.

No additional guests other than those who have booked to stay at the villa are permitted to stay overnight. Sorry no young all male groups.
