We went for my father's birthday and without us asking, the kind staff arranged for a birthday cake and light decor in the room during housekeeping while we were gone and when we got back it was a pleasant surprise truly, My father really was touched by their observance and efforts. Highly recommend.

The location was great, very near the beach and bars and restaurants. The rooms were not fitted out for a long stay there is limited space to put or hang clothes and towels. The rooms were not well maintained or particularly clean. We were looking forward to using the gym but it was dirty and the air con barely worked which is 30 degrees heat made it into a sweat box. The pool was ok and the breakfast nice. The staff were very helpful but I wouldn’t stay here again.

Excellent stay

Hotel was great. The hotel is new which is nice. They upgraded us when we got there so our room was so big! Great location, close to lamai beach and lots of restaurants and lamai night market. Breakfast was a really good - range of food. Staff were super friendly, especially Lele!

Friendly Staff and Excellent Location, With a Few Areas for Improvement I stayed at Centara Life Lamai Resort Samui and found the staff to be extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. Whenever I had an issue, they genuinely did their best to address it, and I appreciated how accommodating they were throughout my stay. The location is one of the hotel’s biggest strengths. It’s only about a two-minute walk to Lamai Beach and right in the middle of the area, with plenty of restaurants, shopping, and nightlife within easy walking distance. The rooms were also very spacious and comfortable, which was a definite plus. There are a few things I think could be improved. I would suggest providing small washcloths in the bathrooms and having security available both during the day and at night. The gym could also use an upgrade, although I really appreciated that the staff provided me with a new yoga mat when I needed one. The biggest issue for me was the nighttime noise. Because this is a smaller hotel located close to the street and nightlife, there was significant noise during my stay, generally from around 10:30 p.m. until 2:30 a.m. I was able to discuss and resolve my concerns with the manager, who was very kind and professional, but light sleepers should definitely keep the location and potential noise in mind when booking. Lovely stay in Centara Life. Friendly smiling staff. Immaculately clean. Rooms cleaned and linens changed every other dayor daily if you wanted. Breakfast good with lots of choices. Couldn’t fault our stay there at all. Only two minutes to shops and five to the beach. Enjoyed our stay very much .

Fair comfort, but very noisy area of night clubs.

The room was large and clean but didn't have balcony or another place where to dry wet clothes. We enjoyed the nice swimming pool and breakfast was also ok, the big minus was the huge noise during the night, coming from the night clubs around the hotel. Alsothe beach is kind of far, you need to walk for 10 min and cross the main street.

Exceptional staff and greeting with easy accommodation for early check in and late check out! Major complaint another guest blared music non stop from 8 am until when I checked out at 1.:30 many guests had complained. I know staff tried to shut him up but security should have kicked him out.

If you’re unsure where to stay, read this. This is the perfect place. Hospitality and service are truly top-class. I’ve traveled quite a bit and visited many different cities around the world, but I have honestly never experienced service this genuine and sincere. The care, attention, and warmth from the staff were on another level. The entire stay was a solid 10/10. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and kind. They assisted us with booking tours around the island and were always available when we needed anything — always with a smile and a genuine desire to help. The hotel also offers a very easy-to-use app for ordering room service, food, laundry, and other services, which made the stay smooth, comfortable, and effortless. The food was outstanding, both in taste and presentation. Every meal felt well thought out and high quality. The facilities were beautiful, very clean, and extremely well maintained. The hotel is located in a calm and pleasant area, just a 5-minute walk to the beach, making it ideal for relaxation. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and offer great value for money. The pool area was peaceful and relaxing, and the surrounding area has many nice bars with friendly and welcoming staff. If we return to this destination, this is without question where we would stay again.
