"Perfect host, perfect location , perfect holiday get away . Stayed a week and it felt so relaxing straight away. Great base for exploring surroundings villages etc but lovely and secluded area to come back to. Beach just a short walk away , edged with lovely tavernas , very friendly staff who will even serve you on the beach as you relax on the sunbeds! (Bonus no charge for sunbed and brolly set!) Highly recommend short drive to Matala and Agia Galini ..both fantastic . Brave the drive through...

"Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Zimmer sind sehr großzügig geschnitten und liebevoll eingerichtet. Alles Notwendige ist vorhanden. Nicht alles ist ganz neu, aber das unterstreicht den Charme des Hauses. Highlights waren für uns die große mit Wein überwachsene Terrasse und die vielen schattigen Plätzchen, z.B. unter dem Orangenbaum am Pool. Klitzekleiner Kritikpunkt: Die Matratzen in den Betten waren für uns eher hart, das ist sicher Geschmackssache. Fazit: Absolut empfehlenswert."

Il y a une terrasse couverte avec des canapés et un petit jardin zen.Il faut quand même être averti qu on y accède par un chemin de terre caillouteux néanmoins praticable avec un simple véhicule de tourisme avec précaution.Nous avons pass un agréable séjour. "We found this to be a wonderful rental and we would stay there again happily. It felt like home and is tastefully decorated. The setting is quiet and ideally located for exploring the village on foot and for driving to beaches and historical attractions in the area as well as larger neighboring towns. "Ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt auf Kreta in diesem typisch Kretischen Haus, lässt mich in Erinnerung immer wieder in den Urlaub entschwinden.Die Kommunikation mit dem Besitzer des Hauses war von Anfang an sehr einfach. Er hat mir sofort alle relevanten Informationen zu Unterkunft und Umgebung zukommen lassen. "The villa was spotlessly clean, there were all the essentials we needed for a week and some extras that we hadn't thought of like a cool bag and ice blocks for the beach. The swimming pool is great, the showers are very clean and luxurious, both bedrooms have superking size beds. It is a ten min walk to the nearest village and a 3 mile drive to Matala beach which is an amazing place. Maria and Xenophon are brilliant hosts and left us some lovely breakfast items and a superb leaving gift."

"Ein sehr geräumiges Haus mit herrlicher Dachterrasse und einem kleinen aber feinen Hof lässt einen sehr wohl fühlen. Hausausstattung ist prima. Der Kontakt mit der deutschen Eigentümerfamilie ist hervorragend. Vom sehr ruhig gelegenem Haus sind es 15 Gehminuten zum Strand und zur Tavernengasse. In weiteren 10 Minuten ist man im Ort. Vom Haus aus sind verschiedene Wanderwege erschließbar.Klare Empfehlung und wir würden wiederkommen. "
