Wonderful location

We enjoyed our stay here for a few days while attending a wedding. Couldn’t beat the view from the balcony or being so close to the Beach House next door to grab a drink at sunset. Clean, excellent parking, no musty smells, no creepy crawlers spotted. Bed had nice white linen on it.

Wonderful stay

I absolutely loved my stay at Kuhio Shores. The condo is the perfect size, with all the amenities you may need. Very central to diving spots and the harbor, as well as old town Kōloa. In the mornings and during the evening you can see turtles from outside your window on the lanai. Such a special little spot! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Kauai Babymoon Trip

This was such a sweet and spacious condo for my husband and toddler to stay at. The bed was so comfortable and easily fit all three of us during our stay. The air-conditioning /fans were a lifesaver for all of us. We enjoyed listening to the waves crashing outside our lanai with the sunrises and sunsets during our stay. The kitchen had most of the amenities we needed to make our meals during our stay. We would love to return to this roomy condo!outout

August Stay

My boyfriend and I loved this property. While many places on Kauai don’t have air conditioning, this condo did and it made a huge difference. The bay right outside the condo has a ton of sea turtles and a quick walk on the other side of the property has one of the best snorkeling spots in my opinion. There are a ton of colorful fish and sea turtles and the waves aren’t too rough. Loved our stay here.

We loved everything about this condo. The only thing that would have improved our stay would be a/c and a tv in the bedroom, just because we are used to both, but without them I still can't complain. Great stay!

Beautiful area/property.

Beyond amazing views of the ocean, especially sunrises and sunsets. Saw sea turtles and dolphins from right outside property. Short walks to multiple beaches, stores, and food.

Turtle Cove overlook at Kuhio Shores

We enjoyed our stay at Kuhio Shores. The condo was comfortable for two people. We enjoyed sunrise on the lanai in the mornings and watching the turtles in the afternoon. The only thing we missed was an ice maker but we were able to buy a bag of ice to fit in the freezer. The property is clean, safe and easy to get around. We definitely would recommend staying here.

CLEAN condo

Tropical appointments, kitchen more than adequately supplied. Bed was very comfortable. View every morning at sunrise, watching sea turtles feed on the algae right below the lanai.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our time here, the place was clean, modern, lots of A/C and a beautiful view from the balcony. We had an issue with the hot water in the shower and GVR provided great customer service to get us taken care of. Will highly recommend this place to everyone!

Simple and Elegant

We really enjoyed our time at Kuhio Shores. Unit 207 has a great view of the ocean, and you can hear the surf or close the sliding glass door to the balcony and have some nice quiet time. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a couple simple meals, but we ate most of our meals enjoying the local cultural food. We were thrilled to see several turtles playing in the surf, great view from the balcony. The included car rental was a great money saver for our trip too.

Awesome waterfront condo

If you like the sound of the ocean - this is it for you. Walking distance to amazing sunsets and a small beach. Everything worked out perfectly. There’s no pool but that didn’t bother us. Close to restaurants and food trucks- less than 5 min drive. Everything in Poipu is close. Good location for exploring the south. Condo was clean and spacious. Book this place if you can!

Perfect location, can almost dive into the water from the lanai!

Located within walking distance to The Beach House restaurant (with the best happy hour) and pretty good snorkeling. The home had wonderful air con, kitchen was well appointed and we enjoyed the lovely welcoming gifts from the rental management. This condo could use some touch up paint, softer sheets and there’s few secrets in the restroom (open air to the rest of the condo). Amazing lanai with turtle visits daily. We used the grill and appreciated the beach chairs and cooler. Laundry is expensive and is shared. Overall very well appointed condo on gorgeous Kaua’i!! Thanks!

207 Kuhio Shores Kauai

Location: This condo is located near Poipu with restaurants, shops, and the beach nearby. We appreciated being close to so much in the area. For the end of March and beginning of April, this is the dry area of the island, and we were glad we booked a room down here. The Blow Horn is just a little over a mile away. Rent a car and drive to Poipu Beach as the beaches around the condo are not great to lay out on. The Beach House restaurant is next door, and they serve great food. I actually preferred some of the pub grub at Friendly Waves and Kauai Island Brew (pizza). Condo: Unit came with a parking spot, wifi, and everything in the kitchen we needed. The a/c units in the main room and the bedroom provided plenty of cooling, and the small cooler, chairs and boogie boards on the balcony were appreciated. Towels, extra bedding and pillows were provided, and there are washers and dryers on site if needed (bring quarters). Other reviews have said the furniture is dated, and that is true; however, everything is functional and practical. The kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances were newer and worked well. The view is of a small cove/inlet and is great. We saw turtles one day while we were there and numerous people snorkeling and spear fishing. Overall: Great stay, great location, and really easy instructions on how to check in and out. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location!

This condo complex (Kuhio Shores) has an amazing location right by the ocean and close to good snorkeling. This unit had great views of the sunrise and sea turtles. We stayed in February and rarely needed to turn on the air conditioning. The condo if well stocked with cooking supplies and basic supplies like toilet paper, paper towels, laundry detergent, and dish tabs. There are only 4 bath and 4 beach towels provided, so expect to do laundry if you're staying more than 3 to 4 days ($5 per load). The unit is managed by a company and not listed by an individual owner, so save money by booking directly through their website . (Great Vacation Retreats). When we originally booked through VRBO, check out time was stated as 11am, but this was either a misprint or was changed before our stay and became 10am and the management company was disinterested in honoring the original time. We had asked about a coffee grinder prior to our stay and was told there wold be one. When we arrived there wasn't but the company promptly responded to our text and had someone drop one off. Only other downsides for us were the hot water tank provides about 10 -15 minutes of hot water so we had to space out our showers and we like to sleep with 2 pillows each and only 3 regular pillows were provided. Overall we enjoyed the condo and location but would book directly through the company now that we know about it instead of VRBO.
