「Really wonderful welcoming stay. The room was a bit musty smelling, and there were ants, but this was overshadowed by the managers hospitality. He really went the extra mile - even going to get beers for us as the shops were a bit far away :)」

「The owner's attitude was nice, location is quite close to the Udawalawe National Park. Breakfast however was only an omelet, 2 pieces of toast and a small cup of juice for each person which wasn't enough for us. The room was full of dust, and the air coming out of the AC feels like mold. If you want to join the safari, the owner has a jeep and a driver to take us into the safari in the morning which needs an additional cost, and we feel it's a little too high price.」

「Dirty but the services of owner is good. Why the internet booking quotation is in USD but they only take rs!」

「Von der ersten Minute an haben wir uns hier unglaublich wohlgefühlt. Janik, seine Mutter und das gesamte Team sind herzlich, hilfsbereit und mit viel Liebe bei der Sache. Die Anlage mit nur wenigen Zimmern ist sehr gepflegt und bietet eine entspannte, familiäre Atmosphäre. Besonders das Open-Air-Bad mit Blick ins Grüne war traumhaft. Das Essen war frisch zubereitet und geschmacklich ein Highlight – sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen waren top! Die Organisation unserer Safari lief reibungslos....

「We had a fantastic stay at Lizard Safari Lodge. The rooms are clean and well kept, with a nice big bed, mosquito net and fan. Our room had a balcony which was great to sit out on in the late afternoon. Dinner was delicious on both nights of our stay (as was breakfast) with a good selection of food and very generous portion sizes! Nandu could not have been kinder, taking us on a tour of the village and to a local swimming spot on the afternoon of our arrival, and providing snacks and ice creams....
