「excellent traditional Japanese hostel」

「Our junior suite was amazing. We had locals sweets everyday in our room with explanation about the local ingredients. We had a beautiful view of the river and city and eat good & well balanced breakfast. The staff was very polite & gave us excellent service. Thank you so much! We enjoyed our stay!」

「They were very nice and helpful. The room is very clean, the bathroom is good. And the location is good, very near the places that we want to go in Kanazawa.」

「Interesting traditional inn but modern facilities. Staff guide you around the property, which is quite unusual when you're used to staying in standars hotels. Staff have varying levels of English but thanks to Google translate it didn't cause any problems. Slight miscommunication about our check out time, but it was resolved and we found our way out of the hotel(!)」

「A beautiful traditional home with a modern twist. Clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. Thoughtful touches , plenty of USB charger points to keep a 16 yr old happy - a remarkable find. The host is wonderful and helpful. Would have loved to stay longer」

「12月24日に宿泊させて頂きました。 180年以上前に建てられた古民家の宿は、雪に覆われていて最高の日に宿泊できた事は本当に運が良かったです。 館内はとても清潔に保たれていて、気持ち良く過ごす事ができました。 石庭も手入れが行き届いていて、雪吊りが雪国を感じさせてくれました。 今度は、雪の無い時期にお庭のウッドデッキでバーベキューなんかもしてみたいです。 スタッフの皆様のお気遣いにも感謝しています。 一緒に営業している飲食店を探してくれたり、雪の少ない道を案内してくれたりと本当に助かりました。 本当にありがとうございました。」

「送迎から食事周りのことまで、そこまでサービスしてもらっていいんですか？と思うくらい、主さんのホスピタリティに感心しました。聞けば地元を丹念に踏査してコアな穴場をガイドしたり、登山に同行されることもあったとか。次回はぜひ、ガイドもお願いしたいなぁと思える、心地よい滞在でした。ありがとうございました。」

「樓梯小了點，搬大型行李有點吃力但是房間乾淨，床舖柔軟，還備有餐具和微波爐十分貼心，有回到家的感受，離金澤車站很近，從ホテル金澤方向走過來僅4-5分鐘，從車站坐公車到金澤各地也很便利，附近還有一間小超市。」

「鬧中取靜的好地點。員工可用英文聊天，溝通不成問題。唯一可惜，當晩因客滿無緣嚐到他們的金沢料理。從早餐經驗可推，晚餐想必令人期待！」

「Upon our arrival we were welcomed by the manager Bill who made us feel welcome. He showed us and told us the things we needed to know. Though the apartment isn't big, it was quite complete and looked very new and nice. The bedroom had 2 double beds that were a little too small for 2 adults. Also a readinglight would have been nice, but we noticed that that isn't common in Japan. But there was enough closet space, which we liked. The location was good. There was a nice shopping center on walking...

「It was a pleasant stay and location is great. Is about 560m away from Kanazawa station .We are able to drop off our luggage at Kanazawa hotel before our check in time . Is a plus as this hotel is unmanned. Smooth Check in with password given. Comfortable bed and family friendly. 」
