About Villa Dora
Villa Dora is a family owned four-star vacation rental property in Cavtat, Croatia.
It is located in the oldest part of downtown Cavtat surrounded by age old evergreens,
and just a minute s walk (40 meters) from the beaches on either side of the peninsula.
The owner, Mrs. Marina Bobić, is a registered tourist guide to the county and gladly
offers tips and advice to all her guests.

Amazing

Marina is a wonderful host and the property is perfectly located in beautiful Cavtat. Great access to water and restaurants. Marina helped with excursions which made it easy. There was plenty of room and relaxing time in the courtyard. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, magical Croatia

Perfect, this was a perfect place. This apartment itself is beautifully designed and decorated. Very functional with many, lovely details. Comfortable beds and sitting room furniture and several eating areas. Good, well equipped kitchen, immaculate bathrooms (great tile design), laundry room and machine worked great. We watched as pomegranates and lemons ripened on the trees in our.private yard. We met the turtles and the cats. House is nestled in the trees a bit above and away from any noise. Over coffee, our hostess offered many suggestions about the area to enhance our first visit to Croatia, including a tour of nearby Dubrovnik! Several paths through the hillside houses or along the seaside lead down to the Oceanside town of Cavtat. Four star restaurants on the small waterfront, friendly people and really amazing sunsets. I cannot praise our hostess enough, her knowledge of the area and culture enhanced our stay and her friendly response to questions and requests were welcoming more than any other host we have met. I could go on and on. Special people and place. I highly recommend!

Was awesome to stay in Cavtat at this lovely home!

This property was very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped bedding was good with lots of extra blankets. We even did our laundry there!!Close to the sea and many interesting restaurants and shopping. The property is in a very nice location and Marina was very accommodating. The only drawback was the wifi was not strong and had to do our communication in the bedroom close to the router. Other than that a wonderful stay!!

Awesome host and stay

Marina was fantastic. Picked us up at the airport (two trips) and we hired her to tour us thru Dubrovnik. Place was very clean and we enjoyed the garden. Highly recommend

Large and comfortable apartment set in a very peaceful walled garden with outside seating and dining areas. Only a short (steep) downhill walk to the beaches and promenade with many good restaurants to choose from. There are a couple of the owners’ friendly cats in the garden and a few small tortoises wandering about, which our children loved. There is occasional noise from planes approaching the airport but this applies to all of Cavtat and didn’t bother us at all. The apartment is very well equipped and modern throughout. Marina and her family were friendly, helpful and generous hosts. We would absolutely love to return to this apartment many times in the future and we genuinely recommend it very highly.

Ideal for an Extended Stay in the Area

Marina is a wonderful hostess! She went out of her way to help us (two couples traveling together) get to the villa. (The cruise ship line arranged for a driver who dropped us off in the wrong place!) Both she and her husband were very helpful with property details; as well as Marina is a wealth of knowledge about the area. A big thank you to the driver she arranged for us to get to the city center and also to the airport when we departed; Juro was helpful, prompt and so kind. The property itself is peaceful, modern and welcoming. You do have a bit of a hill to climb with your luggage; however, it's very doable (our group average age was 57). Cavtat is quaint, relaxing and a nice change of pace from the days when the big cruise ships are in Dubrovnik. We found the most inexpensive way to get to Dubrovnik was via the water taxis. Be aware that the last water taxi departs Dubrovnik around 6pm local time. Cavtat has plenty of nice places for dinner or the villa's kitchen could be used for cooking a meal.

Great apartment and location

Apartment was very well appointed and host Marina extremely helpful. Large and spacious and very private location. We ate out most days as the choice of restaurants was great. Cavtat is a beautiful small town/harbour with easy walks for those that wish it.

Quiet and beautiful

House was lovely. Such a great outside area with amazing views. Cavtat is a great place and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Marina was a great host who looked after us so well. One small matter if you have any walking difficulties this is not the place to go. House is reached by a steep cobbled hill in one direction and 78 steps in the other.
