Fishing, kayaking, paddle boarding, & hiking are all popular Kootenay activities! Kooskanook Harbor is an approximate10 minute drive (south).

For a quick/ convenient stop, Destiny Bay Liquor/ Grocers is only 10 minutes from the cabin. Drive another 25 minutes North to experience unique shops at Crawford Bay (the Woven Broom & others), Kokanee Springs Golf Resort or catch the free Ferry for a day trip to Nelson, Ainsworth Hot Springs, Kaslo or other quaint communities.
