"First of all, this is a lovely hotel with a great location right on the sea front. Staff all friendly, breakfast was super and the bar area very relaxed. All in all a thoroughly recommended hotel. The one niggle (with the town in general, not the hotel's fault really) is the parking arrangements. You can't park in the town for more than 15 mins. After that you have to move it outside the town gates and get a shuttle bus back in. The 15 mins is extended to 30 mins for hotel guests. The only problem is that the over-enthusiastic parking officers don't know who is a hotel guest and who isn't. So by the time you have walked from the parking area to the hotel reception, dealt with check in, taken bags to the room, and got back to the car, you will probably be ~20mins. As a result, I had a parking ticket when I got back to the car to move it back out of town. After parking and getting the shuttle bus, I told the driver about the ticket who assured me it wasn't a problem and it happened a lot. He took the ticket from me, assuring me that the hotel would deal with it. I've no idea what the outcome was but I'm hoping it's cleared now and I won't get a bill from the car hire company in few weeks for an unpaid ticket. It's all unnecessary anxiety while on holiday. Why they don't simply tell you to park outside the town and call the shuttle from there is a mystery. It would be far easier. As I say, it isn't really the hotel's fault and they did assure me it was dealt with."

"The staff at reception were super nice, every facilities/ cleaner said hello, extremely friendly. The room was very clean and spacious, bed was comfortable. The only negative is that the hallway feels like it’s on your room at night, you can hear everything. But I loved the location, breakfast was superb and for the price I would absolutely stay here again."

"This is an elegant hotel perfectly located on a pedestrian street but close to taxis. There are restaurants, shops and all the noteworthy historical and entertainment places. The staff are wonderful. The room large, well furnished and equipped. The breakfast was outstanding. This is a great place to explore beautiful Trieste."

"It’s a fabulous location and the facilities are very good quality and well kept from cleanliness standpoint too. The 12km path along seaside is great for those that are fitness conscious and it also provides several more small beach access points and park benches. Great value! Breakfast option is convenient and adequate. Lobby bar and patio were fabulous, especially with the seaside view and breeze in the evening. À la carte dinner meals were convenient and adequate. There are other restaurant options within 5 to 10 minutes walk and small grocery store for essentials. Service at reception and lobby bar and seaside restaurant were very good. The deck/seaside swimming area with chairs and canopies are worth the extra expense. All the prices were reasonable. We did not access the indoor pool during our stay. Massage services were very good too. Eco friendly incentive (no room cleaning) could be a bit more precise…need to pay lobby bar charges with credit card daily to receive 15% discount (not applied at checkout). The area is very walkable with plenty of ‘tourist shops’. The overall vibe including surrounding architecture is special and we did not feel overcrowded in early July. We will be back…easy access from Zagreb, Trieste and or Ljubljana too."

"A very serviceable hotel less than 10 minutes drive from the airport. The staff member at check-in was super fast and seamless which was very appreciated considering we arrived after midnight! Breakfast was also nicer than expected, though we came down quite late and things were running low. Staff also helped us arrange a taxi when we left."

"Hotel has 2 parts, one near off and the other across the street. We were across the street and the room was good! Clean and new looking. Staff was helpful with suggestions for meals and things to do."

"Everything was pretty exceptional, from the design and attention to detail, the room is always cleaned every time I come back. The only thing (and I don't think it takes away from the full experience) is that there should be a shortcut to the rooms further away from the main lobby, granted that there is a full courtyard for a cafe also owned by the hotel, I presume."
