This is our second time staying at the Dimitra Beach. We returned as we loved the hotel, the food and the relaxed pool area and amazing staff that made the trip so enjoyable. A massive thank you to Stellios, Rafaela and the lifeguard at the main pool area who made our stay so relaxing and enjoyable.

We recently visited Kos for the first time and it was an amazing experience! We stayed in a fantastic hotel that was very peaceful, clean, and well-maintained. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, which really made our holiday special. The food was delicious with plenty of variety. All in all, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

Wir haben hier vier Tage verbracht, was für uns völlig ausreichend war. Der Service war wirklich hervorragend; alle Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und der Service war schnell. Leider war das Essen jedoch eine kleine Enttäuschung. Die Qualität des Buffets im Hauptrestaurant war abends nicht wirklich gut, und bei der Sauberkeit des Geschirrs gab es noch Verbesserungsbedarf. Das À-la-carte-Restaurant hingegen war gut. Der Pool- und Strandbereich war sehr gut; es gab viele Liegen, und die Pools waren sauber. Allerdings waren die Fliesen im Poolbereich für diesen Bereich nicht geeignet; sie waren extrem rutschig, sodass man sehr vorsichtig gehen musste. Dies stellt eine erhebliche Gefahr dar, insbesondere für ältere Gäste und Kinder. Das Zimmer war in Ordnung, aber die Sanitäranlagen im Zimmer waren unbefriedigend; es gab keine Möglichkeit, Handtücher neben den Waschbecken aufzuhängen. Außerdem waren die Wasserhähne extrem abgenutzt, laut und fielen praktisch schon ab. Zudem kam oft ein extrem schlechter Geruch aus den Abflüssen. Der Safe war zu klein für einen normalen Laptop (MacBook). Das Bett war bequem. Auch die Einrichtung wirkte schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. In der unmittelbaren Umgebung gab es sonst nichts.

The room was clean and it was right next to the beach. The staff were friendly and attentive. The only problem we had was the pools were always full, with people "reserving" the areas with their towels and then leaving the area. However, overall, it was a very nice hotel and i would recommend it.

Excelente localização, num local calmo, com uma vista fenomenal. Quarto escolhido: standard. Boa escolha: vista linda para o resort e para o mar. Limpeza do quarto, foi boa, mas poderia ser melhor. O staff é que fez a estadia, além das instalações, claro. Staff simpático, sempre disponível, atento, com um sorriso. A quem gere o resort e aos proprietários: o vosso staff foi o que mais me agradou: é ficar com eles, pois deles é que depende a volta dos clientes... ou não. Restaurantes sempre limpos, com comida fresca e bem apresentada. A cada noite, existe um tema para o jantar, mas o que mais me agradou foi a comida local: deliciosa. O problema é que os clientes, ao jantar, iam vestidos como se fossem para a praia ou piscina. Deveria haver um controlo na entrada e avisar no check-in, que, ao jantar, não é permitido chinelos e calções, por exemplo. Algo a melhorar. À noite, no lounge do bar exterior, há sempre um espectáculo de música ou dança. Agradável. Piscinas limpas e camas confortáveis. Mas o problema é que havia muitas camas só com toalhas, sem nada a marca-las, o que fazia com que essas mesmas camas ficassem sem ninguêm durante todo o dia. Conselho: de vez em quando, passar pelas cadeiras e retirar as toalhas vazias, sem ninguêm ou algo a marca-las. De resto, uma estadia bastante agradável. Muito bom.

Fourth return so I think that speaks volumes. Prettier than I remembered and for me as a solo traveller an excellent place to chill. The only difference this time I went early season in April so it was less crowded and the air temperature cool. Comfortable bed, good food, smiling faces from the staff. What really sells this place is it’s attractive design of the complex and it’s beautiful location under blue skies and to see a shimmering Aegean against the white buildings.

Das Areal ist sehr schön gestaltet, gut gepflegt und sehr nettes Personal. Ist jedoch nicht geeignet für Personen, die schwer gehen, da alles sehr weitläufig ist mit vielen Treppen. Aufgrund der Ziegen, die teilweise einen Besuch abstatten, liegt doch immer mal wieder wo eine Ausscheidung der Ziegen, Kakerlaken und Ameisen sind auch einige unterwegs - im Zimmer jedoch nicht. Hier wurde nur einmal die Zahnpasta von Ameisen besucht. Alles in allem ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt und erholsamer Urlaub.

The Dimitra Beach Hotel shares a private beach with its sister hotel, the Michaelangelo. The view across the Agean to Turkey is amazing. The water is very clean, with sunbeds and shades along the beach. The choice and quality of food at the buffet was amazing - a big well done to the kitchen team. The hotel is well maintained and very clean. There is a regular bus service to Kos Town from outside the hotel - it is cheap and comfortable with aircon. The staff at the Dimitra are friendly, professional and I could tell they've been well trained. The prices for food and beverage if not all inclusive are reasonable. The house wines are very drinkable.
