“It is the best and the only 5 stars hotel in katowice city. Staff were very helpful. Only take 3 minutes to Mariacka street and 5 minutes to train station by walking. Their facilities are perfect, even has heated floor in bathroom. Would recommend to stay here if you have enough budget.”

“We booked five rooms for eight nights at Hotel Szafran for our group of ten. We were very pleased with the rooms - plenty of space and quite comfortable and clean. Although there wasn't a/c in our rooms, the standing fans helped a lot. The breakfast was fantastic and the staff were kind and helpful. The location was perfect as there was a shopping center next door, and we could easily find supplies for our service project. “Looks like average chain hotel... but I travelled with "extra" children. Hotel was very nice about that. No extra charges, gave us a bigger room. Very friendly atmosphere, great breakfast (!) and staff, free parking. Super nice receptionist and I think it was a super nice owner taking care of each detail on the breakfast shift.
