Early check-in was well handled and I was tired from an early flight and was able to enter the room without waiting. There were no bathrobes in the room, but they were delivered as soon as I asked for them. All the staff were very helpful.

Poor service. I ask reception to give me one more toilet paper, they said you need to use up your current one...wifi is bad, the wall is not sound proof...nothing worth this price unless the location.

The Darkroom

Booked the end corner Deluxe Suite as seen on the reservation page (white/Luxury/2 bay windows). However I was given a middle room which all walls was like a darkroom; all black, a bit reminds you of a KTV party room w/ a bed. It had a cigarette smoking smell to the room. Overall 5/10. Point to note; every close to shopping, food, and local pubs.

The atmosphere is not for everyone, the dark themed rooms are eerie and spooky. The dark room and mirrors make it quite challenging to make out what you're seeing. The dark theme rooms do not provide a comforting feeling at all. The staff was not very helpful at helping us change to a light themed room... We were never given an option to pick the themed room. If we were provided a light themed room as we intended based on the photos, we would have been able to get over the dark lobby, hallways and elevator.

Die Lage ist unschlagbar zu diesem Preis. Einrichtung der Zimmer ist top. An der schriftlichen Kommunikation könnte noch etwas gearbeitet werden. Sonst alles ok. Gerne wieder und werde das Haus weiter empfehlen.

The standard room is much smaller than the pictures, unless you stay in a suite the room is tiny and very hard to move around in if you have more than 1 person staying. The overall cleanliness could be improved - the rug in the room looked super dirty and brown. The shower head had black moulds on it, so I’d recommend for the hotel to have a thorough clean of this. The wardrobe door fell out of the hinges but luckily did not fall on me. The only positive is that the hotel fixed this straight away when I informed them. The black out curtain was stuck and could not be pulled down. The only positive of this hotel is its central locationn TST. Definitely NOT a 4* hotel!

The hotel photos look so much better than reality. You have to leave a $100 US cash deposit for incidental charges at checkin and not a credit card hold. The hotel is located on a side street however it is close walking distance to the harbor.

The location is great, close to subway, easy access from airport (we took the A21 bus and it left us a few blocks away), short walk to the harbor and so many food options nearby. The room itself was not the cleanest,
