Clean room, comfortable bed, good choice for breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Hotel in a quiet street but within 2mins of main square and 10mins from main train station, 25mins from airport. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would definitely choose again if returning to Kraków.

We booked the Superior Apartment which has a large living room, kitchen, bedroom with 1 queen bed and 1 twin bed. Clean large bathroom. Plenty of closet spaces. We loved it. Highly recommend. Short walk to Old Town, Wawel Castle and other attractions.

Un séjour à Cracovie parfait dans cet hotel, idéalement situé, à deux pas de la place principale, mais dans une rue calme. Accueil très sympathique par le personnel à la réception, serviable, d'une grande gentillesse, qui nous a aidé à réserver des restaurants de bon rapport qualité prix, disponible pour la moindre question, souriant, aimable. Notre chambre était très jolie, spacieuse, confortable à tout point de vue et notamment de la literie, salle de bain impeccable. Quant au petit déjeuner ce dernier comportait une variété importante de fruits, pains, fromage, légumes, charcuterie, oeuf, crépes, yaourt, différentes céréales, différentes boissons, et j'en oublie surement. Je recommande à 200% car le rapport qualité prix est imbattable. De plus, cet hotel est à 10 minutes à pied de la gare, qui relie la ville à l'aéroport en un temps record.

Wonderful stay at Portal House Apartments! The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Krakow and very close to everything. The apartment was big, nicely decorated and very clean. The bathroom was spacious and beautiful and everything felt well taken care of. The best part was definitely the amazing staff. They welcomed me with warm smiles and made me feel at home right away. So kind and helpful! Breakfast was great to! Lots of choices and everything fresh and tasty. I can really recommend staying here if you appreciate cleanliness, friendly people, and a perfect central location. Thank you so much for making my time in Krakow so much better. Staying at your place was a real highlight of my trip.

Location was great, cleanliness and breakfast as well. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. The only thing was that the AC was working so poorly. I could never really tell if it was working at all. I could see the receptionist change the AC settings in the hallway, but if any cold air was entering my room, I didn't notice. I would definately come back (and hope to do so next year), but because of the hot room (=bad sleep) I would avoid the summer. Otherwise I would highly recommend this hotel.

A hotel with amazing staff and an extremely helpful owner manager. Beautiful art deco style decor throughout and a lift to all floors as well as stairs, if you would prefer. The reception area is very well kept and the dining area, of to the right, is also. The rooms are delightful, we had good views of the terrace below and could see the main tower in the square from both windows. We had room 8.1 which I believe was a larger bed. Stacks of choice for breakfast, meats & cheeses, cooked eggs & bacon, pastries, cereal, fruit and tea & coffee. We had booked an Auschwitz trip for 0900 Sunday but that got changed to an 0520 pick up, yes, not a typo! The owner/manger, who's name I still can't pronounce, made us a breakfast bag for pick up at 0445, what an absolute star. If that isn't pushing the boundaries I don't know what is. Auschwitz is a very long day, with a very early start, it was a bit too much for me, as I suffer with many ailments. Please be prepared! Buy any mars bars, sweets, drinks and food before you go, as the vending machines at the site are horrifically expensive. It's a 2 minute walk to the main square, where you are spoilt for choice for menus, drinks & desserts. We would happily stay here again and would not bother looking anywhere else.

Great stay at Portal. Amazing location, a 3 minute walk to the square. Everything was clean, breakfast was plentiful and the staff was very helpful.
