Atlantis Blue B - Cozy Beach Retreat-Pets!

This charming 2 bedroom, 1 bath Kure Beach coastal retreat sleeps 6 with one king bed, one queen bed and a queen air mattress. Enjoy dining al fresco just off of the sliding doors where you’ll find a covered patio with plenty of room for your party to relax and unwind! Beach access just across the street. Approved pets welcome $100/dog up to 4 days, $150/pet/week.

This is the bottom floor apartment of the house. The cozy living room has plenty of seating room for your group and leads into the updated kitchen. It has been stocked with all of the essentials you'd need to enjoy a meal in during your stay. There's seating for 6 at the dining table and 2 additional spots at the kitchen peninsula. Both bedrooms are spacious, with one having a king size bed and the other having a queen. There is one full bathroom with double sinks and a walk in shower.

The best part of the apartment is the patio out front! It's the perfect spot to start your day with a coffee or enjoy a home cooked meal while relaxing in the sea breeze. With beach access right across the street you'll never want to leave!

Guests will have full access to the entire downstairs unit in the house, it's patio, and a section of the driveway for parking. There is a locked owners closet for our supplies, but everything else is yours to use. There may be guests staying in the upstairs unit, so the driveway may be shared at times.

We do allow dogs with prior approval. Our pet fee is $100/dog up to 4 days, $150/pet/week.

You will be able to park your car on the right side of the driveway during your stay.

Disappointed
Overall would not recommend this rental. Stayed with my family of four and it was small and dingy. The pictures made it seem bright and much larger than in person. It was dark and basement like. Luckily some of my family stayed in the rental above us because you can definitely hear footsteps which gets loud. Upstairs is a much larger and brighter unit and a lot cleaner. I had to clean when we got in. The door handles were dirty and the walls had marks everywhere. The tv did not work and the Internet was so spotty. The kitchen was also missing the basics like a toaster but it did have an updated fridge. Also thankfully I brought towels because there were only a few provided. The location was good and close to the beach and aquarium. Overall, spent a lot of money for a unit that wasn’t inviting and we really couldn’t enjoy after a long day out.

The area is beautiful as far as the town and sightseeing. My accommodations however were subpar. Entering the property you can tell it hasn’t been updated or maintained. Ceiling fans filled with dust, several roaches I killed but that was the least of my concerns. The house has a lower level and upper level. We were on the lower level. A family of 7 with kids rented above us. Our first night you can hear everyone running upstairs and it sounded like they were moving furniture, jumping off the beds and throwing things around. We COULD not sleep and it went on till after 10pm. I notified the property manager several times that night and she spoke to the renters above who didn’t stop the racket. It happened the next night as well past 1am. The property manager had very delayed responses and did offer to move us to another property that was 5 miles away from where we wanted to be and informed us of this too late to make the hassle of moving worthwhile. I asked at the end of our visit for a partial refund and was basically told tough luck. If you want a little chuckle, they are so cheap that they watered down the off brand hand soap in the bathroom-be careful or it will shoot out at you. If you want peace and quiet and attentive and courteous management please skip this property. They have 2 others on Carolina Beach-beware. They need to insulate and soundproof between units. I’m looking forward to their response as of course they were perfect and did nothing wrong. Good Luck

Birthday surprise !
We needed a quick little getaway for our family for the night and this was just perfect ! Right across the street from the beach. You really can't beat that! The home was cute ,clean, and cozy. The host was wonderful! We hope to stay there again soon ! I would recommend maybe some complementary things such as kitchen trash bags and paper towels. Other then that we are so grateful for the stay ! Thx
