"Staying here was amazing - a very good ryokan for the cost, it wasn't bougie but it was still amazing. The room is a good size, the futons and comfy and the view with the garden is excellent. Also, the staff were lovely, she spoke amazing English and was very friendly and helpful. She even had a map printed out showing what is in the nearby town (i.e. where to eat. laundromat and public transport). This was extremely helpful and showed that the staff care about our needs, and also walked us to our room. The public bath was amazing as well. "

"No staff whatsoever. No coffee or water in room. Beds like concrete and only one pillow per bed. Credit card machines not working so we had to pay cash. Bathrooms nice and good shower. "
