“The hotel in general is pretty well maintained. It does not have a lift, so you need to prepare to carry the luggage up to your room, yet the receptionist are able to help carrying the luggage if you ask for help. The location of the hotel is pretty well and it only takes 5 to 10 mins walk to get to the Square from the hotel. We found the hotel receptionists very helpful. My wife had her lips hurt when playing the sand boarding at Huacachina the day before getting to Cusco. The receptionist is……

“I stayed there for three nights with friend traveling to Peru for sightseeing. The hotel is clean and is located in nice location about ten minutes walk to plaza de Armas. The staff are very friendly and professional. There is a court yard for tea, between restaurant and lounge, making guests feel comfortable. However hardware in the hotel is getting old. I saw elevator was not working for one day. When I first moved into room #202, wifi was not working since signal was too weak. They let me……

“Amaru Colonial was one of the best hotel experiences I’ve ever had. It is a beautiful hotel with stunning views of Cusco from the patio. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The area felt safe and is a short walk to the city center. Breakfast each day was healthy and tasty. The staff went above and beyond with transporting and storing our luggage for a few days while we went to Machu Picchu at their sister hotel which we stayed at when we returned to Cusco. ”
