Staff were very kind and arranged a taxi, helped unload and take your luggage up. The guards at the front also provided some peace of mind about safety. The wi-fi was good but paid TV and no option to cast/stream was unexpected. Makeup towel was a great feature in the room and the layout was very spacious. “KPS resort is a brand new facility with currently only six rooms and the rest still being built out. I stayed for two nights during my temple tour of southern Tamilnadu. The facility is beautiful and is very close to Kumbakonam. Rooms were clean, spacious and well appointed. The staff are terrific. The price currently is unbeatable and may not last once it is fully built up. I strongly recommend this resort.”

“Appalled by what I saw, mold on the walls, dilapidated rooms with absolutely no amenities. Checked out within an hour, didn’t get any refunds and to boot took Expedia’s commission as well. We should get back all of the money. Surprised Expedia gave them 3 star rating. If there’s a rating below zero that would be too kind.”

“I liked the spacious room, the almost floor to ceiling mirrors, minimalistic decor, the simplicity of the rooms and the restaurant staff, delicious breakfast, the doormen, and the locals and the location of the property. What could have been better? Aircon failed after powercut, with an improved power backup, the situation could have been resolved.”

Kids play area all broken- Pumpset motor is burnt, AC cooling effecct is very poor, Garden is full of bushes- not watered plants- overgrown bushes. dry leaves all around. The staff- Sundareswaran and Sounder are good- polite- humble. They tried to accomadate all our grievances- tried to solve the motor issue & AC cooling. But it is beyond their capacity.”
