“The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the food was good. What I thought could be improved was the cleanliness of the bathroom, the route was in the middle of the lake and large portions of the day was spent simply docked on shore. I would only recommend going for one night. We booked two nights and they gave us a refund for our second night as they did not have enough guests on our boat to take us out and when we asked about the route they said it would be the same. “Loved my stay on Marvel. Did two nights and enjoyed every minute. The staff was wonderful, professional and kind. Food was amazing, especially the celebratory lunch that was served on my second day. Absolutely beautiful cruise - highly recommend this experience. ”

“Kerela houseboats is the middle agency for blue house boats. NOT at all worth the money looting customers, spent so much but was shared with 6 families not peaceful!..asked for towels said 1 room 1 towel(more like long napkins) for 4 ppl. Double bed not enough for 4 ppl, after insisting got the extra bed, not recommended for the money spent.”

“Stayed there with my family of 3 on NY eve last year. The property was well maintained. While we didn’t get to try all the amenities due to the NY eve rush, the complimentary boat ride on the lake Vemnad was amazing (I would highly recommend to book in advance as it fills our fast). Food was ok. I would recommend this place who wants a quiet, family friendly place in Allepey. ”

“This is a very basic 1 star hotel. There are no pictures of the bathroom for a very good reason. Absolutely dingy and disgusting. Bathroom was small, had a stained toilet and a bucket with no enclosure for bathing. Bedrooms are small and again, very basic. Looks even less than in pics. ”
