"The resort is wonderfully located. Overall our stay was ok. The staff was not attentive to the small things. Large wait times for service at meals. The whole property could use some upgrades. We usually stay at the Sarova Whitesands. I think we will be headed back there next year. "

"This pool is a piece of heaven, the jungle around it makes it perfect spot to fully relax and enjoy with monkeys around it. Amazing place, away from noise, perfect staff, from the front desk to cook, to waitress… 4 acres of jungle and this pool in the middle of it, not a classic hotel, very unique setup, with artistic touch. We highly recommend it. I have been in many places, 45 different countries, but this place I will always remember and I place it at the top three places I ever visited. Majority guests were young couples from Europe with us being the oldest."

"I had a wonderful stay at Southern Palms Beach Resort. From the moment I arrived, everything was smooth, welcoming, and very well organized. The resort is beautiful, clean, and perfectly located on the stunning Diani Beach. My Oceanfront Deluxe room was amazing—spacious, comfortable, spotless, and with incredible views of the ocean. It was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere of the resort and the beautiful beachfront. A special thank you goes to Regina, my Guest Experience Assistant, who truly made my stay unforgettable. She assisted with my check-in and went above and beyond to arrange several incredible experiences for me. Regina organized an amazing private dinner on the beach, which was beautifully set up and absolutely magical. She also helped arrange a fantastic beach cabana experience and a jet ski activity, which were highlights of my visit. The entire staff at the resort was friendly, professional, and welcoming, and you can tell the team takes great pride in providing a great guest experience. Zakia, who is AMAZING, was my attendant for my cabana. I had an equally great attendant for my Dinner on the Beach. I highly recommend Southern Palms Resort to anyone visiting Diani Beach. It’s a beautiful property with excellent service and unforgettable Indian ocean views. "

"Very nice small hotel with a great and very helpful staff. We did experience some power glitches, but nothing that had an impact on our stay. Food at the restaurant was very good, I'd recommend trying the fish tacos and the tuna sashimi. Would definitely come back!"

"This hotel is beautiful. I cannot express how lovely our time was here. The room was a great size with plenty of space a storage, and we had a balcony from which we could watch monkeys play in the trees. The aircon was a godsend! The hotel is set up as about 10-15 villas rather than as one large complex. This creates a much more boutique and homey feeling. There are many areas to enjoy in the hotel, including the gorgeous private beach. The food was exceptional, and despite being all inclusive, managed to stay away from the trap of being samey by day 3. The staff (from cleaners to chefs, waiters and bartenders) were all delightful and made us feel extremely welcome. We each enjoyed a spa treatment which worked wonders following a week of bumpy safari roads. All in all, I can only say please book this place if you’re considering it! "

"The room was a suite, beautiful once. But withno maintenance it had deteriorated to an absurd amount, bathhroom cabinet doors almost falling off in your hands, dirty paint, tv has 4 channels 3 are football, hdmi ports removed, even the room number had missing numbers The pool is the best feature if you ignore the many missing tiles. Ordering food is easy mostly, thecwaut is ridiculous but when it comes it is delicious and fresh. Breakfast is just ok. Staff are friendly enough. But everything is worn. The bed was great comfortable. Had to plead to get a second swipe to keep the ac running when i went out ofvtge room. Cleaners turned up when they want. Even wake you to clean the room in the morning. It is way overpriced. Stay once only, not again"
