“We had a one night stay I. The property and loved it. A self contained well equipped self catering property with lots of space. Beds were comfy and the place was nice and warm. Would definitely come again ”

Wonderful scenery around the village, the gateway to the Isle of Skye 20 minutes away, and what feels like the only chocolaterie in the whole of Scotland within walking distance. Of course, as almost everywhere in the Highlands, you should have a car with you, as public transport is not as frequent as you might be used to in cities.”

“What a wonderful property and a fantastic stay. It was great meeting the owner who met us upon arrival. The cottage had been prepared with a bottle of wine and a warm fire. Along with the electric heaters - this is a very quiet, cozy cabin to base day trips to surrounding Isle of Skye sights. Thanks for all the sightseeing recommendations Eoin! “Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in Glenelg.Das Haus ist gut gelegen mit einem tollen Blick aufs Meer.Leider war uns bei der Buchung nicht bewusst, wie abgelegen Glenelg liegt.Der Ort und somit auch das Haus sind von der Haupstr. noch ca. 16 km entfernt und man benötigt fur die zugegeben sehr schöne Strecke über den Pass ca. 25 bis 30 Minuten. Das sollte man beachten, wenn von dort Ausflüge geplant werden. Das Haus war grundsätzlich sauber, bis auf ein paar Kleinigkeiten. Ansonsten war es ein……

“We only stayed for 3 nights but enjoyed our time. We easily commuted to Skye each day for wonderful hiking, returning to a cozy home by the water. Anna was wonderful, there was an issue with the internet, we didn’t even know was a problem until she reached out with a plan to have it fixed. Before we returned from hiking she had dispatched her local contact to fix the issue. We loved the efforts Anna took to maintain the original feel of the home, while updating where necessary - best shower!!!……

“This is the 4th time we have stayed at Tigh-na-Camus. It is in a beautiful location and an excellent place to get away from it all and relax. The cottage is very comfortable and has the best sunroom on the front overlooking the water. Will definitely book again.”

The only problem we had was inconsistent internet and wifi, but that is to be expected with a rural property. We also found the front door difficult to lock, although as Americans, we may have just not understood how the lock worked.”

The traditional Scottish fare is abundant and appealing, with seamless accomodations for diets. The large gathering spaces were perfect for our group of fourteen; and the charming bedrooms were welcome getaways. Room to sprawl, and to come together.”
