Très agréable location. Maison charmante, très bien agencée, aménagée et équipée, décorée avec goût, au calme au fond d'une impasse, un peu à l'écart du sympathique bourg de l'Épine, et à quelques minutes à pied de la plage de l'Océan. Propriétaires très aimables et obligeants. Très bonne adresse à Noirmoutier!

Very nice house, well equipped and well maintained. Quiet location, just a short walk from the beach. Nice welcome of the hosts. Annoying was the fact that on arrival we were asked to pay extra for towels and linen and for final cleaning. All this should be included in the price upfront. Neighbours have construction works ongoing, we were lucky and they started only towards the end of our stay.

gorgeous little fishermans cottage

Would highly recommend - the pictures don't fully do justice to this lovely space. Each room is lovely, and there is both a small front garden (good for breakfast in the sun) and a fully enclosed and very private terrace at the back of the property. We had a family of 4 - 2 teenage boys and myself and husband staying for a week and the space had everything we needed - every cupboard and room was really well stocked. Great location - 5 mins walk to nearest beach but easy access to all the main areas of Noirmoutier Island. Marie-France is an attentive host and met us on arrival to show how everything worked. Would love to return!

Angenehme, ruhige und Komfortable Ferienwoche

Die sehr nette Vermieterin und ihr Partner begrüßten und verabschiedeten uns sehr freundlich und großzügig. Das Ferienhaus lag ruhig in einer Sackgasse fußläufig zum Meeresstrand. Der Garten ums Häuschen hatte viele Blumen mit lebhaftem Gesummse. Im Haus war alles sehr komfortabel vorhanden, es funktionierte alles gut; die Zimmer waren liebevoll farblich eingerichtet; die Betten waren gut für unseren Rücken; das Bad war funktional gut; alles einwandfrei. A beautiful Gite

The island is very beautiful and this this Gite equals it in every sense. It is finished to an excellent standard and equipped fully. Marie and Gerard are excellent hosts and are on hand if you have any questions. Its a short walk from a lovely beach and the courtyard at the rear of the property is very quiet and a lovely sun trap. we both slept like logs for the week we were there. i would return there in a heartbeat.

Propriétaires très sympathiques avec un accueil chaleureux à notre arrivée. La maison est idéalement placée au calme, à 300 mètres à pieds de la plage. Rien ne manque dans la maison. Nous avons passés un excellent séjour, très reposant.

Superbe séjour dans cette très belle maison noirmoutrine rénovée, très fonctionnelle, décorée avec beaucoup de goût, très bien équipée et d'une propreté irréprochable. A noter la grande qualité de la literie (ce qui n'est pas toujours le cas dans les locations...) Petit jardin et terrasse très agréables. Nous avons apprécié la proximité des commerces et de la plage familiale à moins de 10 minutes à pied. Calme et tranquilité assurés. Un grand Merci Madame et Monsieur Verdon pour votre accueil chaleureux, vos attentions de bienvenue, votre bienveillance, et vos bons conseils pour la découverte de l'île. Nous avons quitté l'Epine à regret et reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

perfect vacation home in L'Epine

The house is small but very comfortable and relatively cool even in very hot weather. It is very well equiped with cooking materials and tableware of good quality. The hosts are generous and welcoming, and have clearly thought about ensuring that their renters will have all that is necessary for a pleasant stay. The location is quiet, near the beach, and not far from "downtown" L'Epine, though commerce and restaurants are very limited there. (There is an excellent bakery, a mediocre butchery, a small convenience store, and the restaurants are not very good.) And L'Epine is poorly served by public transportation. (One navette every hour and half until the service stops at 8 - so forget about dinner out.) Therefore, a car is recommended. None of this concerns the house itself, of course, which is as close to perfection as we have ever found.

Wunderbar

Die Woche war viel zu kurz. Das Haus ist im Stil der Insel gebaut und hat eine sehr gute Atmosphäre. Alles sehr gepflegt. Es liegt etwas zurück und ist sehr ruhig. Ein wunderbarer Platz, um sich zu erholen und sich wohlfühlen. Die Kommunikation mit Marie France war direkt und sehr angenehm. Ich würde jederzeit gerne wieder dort meinen Urlaub verbringen.
